Is it incorrect of my brain to compare Beta to that one meme of someone hiding halfway behind a wall, ominously, and menacingly staring at the viewer when he's being protective?

Well, yes, you could be right. On the other hand, I already mentioned that these occurrences mostly come from his Solar form. On a general level, Beta has weird or creepy tendencies, but whatever it is, he would never intentionally cause harm, he just wants to avoid it. Whether he doesn't know how, that's another matter

Note that Beta has certain attachment issues! And he gets attached too easily (if he trusts you). This isn't necessarily a spoiler, you guys knowing this really isn't going to change the flow of reading the fic so

Nico Robin is a young journalist for the independent website called "The Revolution Army™" (RA) and she investigates about the government and their secrets.

One day, while searching for an info about CP-0, she needs someone connected to the local underground, to gather more information withound raising suspicion.

She contacts some people and they recommend talking to a man called Franky. He is a carpenter for a local ship company called Galley-la.

He knows a lot of people and one of her most trustworhy contacts mentioned something about him actually leading a gang. His nickname Cutty Flam has got some fame apparently.

So she expects to meet a men living a double life. You know. Not a big talker type, cold and distant... She is not a naive woman afterall.

Well she meets Franky.

A sunshine.

A goofball.

A huge dork.

So you can see where am i heading, right? She like... Starts falling for him but he is aware of that fact how much out of his league miss Nico is. And how sophisticated lady like her should date someone better than him... But he also likes her like a person so he acts friendly towards her and tells her a lot of silly jokes and -god, she havent felt this relaxed around anyone.... Like never. And and--

Franky calling Robin "miss Nico" and then casually sliding to just "Robin" when he is... Like serious
