Ooo so I'm still interested in that OC ask game you reblogged about three days ago if you'd like some prompts! 👀✨
These are the ones I'm most intrigued by so you may answer any or all among them if you feel so inclined (>u<)/
Jiahui: 2, 3, 19, 28
Hui Ying: 10, 11, 25, 42
Yuuuuuu
You're my favourite person when you send me asks!!!!!!
For Jiahui these were easy bc she's closing in to being 2 years old and I've written a lot for her! For Hui Ying these took a bit to figure out bc I don't think I've written a single story for her beside her backstory, so this was useful!
That being said

2. If your OC could revisit their childhood, what would they want to change about it, if anything at all?
The only thing she would change is the one thing she has no power over, her mother's incident. In general though she's quite content with her childhood: she did well in school, she had some friends to hang out with, her expeditions to keep her busy, her excursions with her dad and the Moon-Chasing Festival to spend with her mother (almost) every year.
3. Describe three of the most important photographs your OC owns.
Okay so. The first one is the first photo she took with her camera. It's a selfie with her parents right after they gifted it to her after she received her admission letter to the Academy. All three smiling brightly at the camera, still riding the high of the news of her perfect scores in the admission exam. (little did they know...) The second one is another selfie, this time with the Huaxu group. It was taken after a dinner out, just before going their separate ways. It took a bit of nagging to convince Mortefi to agree, and her cheeks are bright red after a glass of wine, and her eyes closed because she was smiling too hard... but the night had been so beautiful she couldn't resist taking a snapshot for safekeeping. Finally the third one is an old picture her father took. It's her and her mother, she must have been no older than 5, at the Moon-Chasing Festival. The soft lighting, the pink petals falling all around them... and the laughter of the night. Jiahui barely has any memory of the event, only some fragments, but she still remembers the warmth of her mother's hug.
19. How quick is your OC to shift blame? Do they own up to their mistakes, or are they prone to start pointing fingers at others?
She usually owns up to her mistakes, though it takes a while for her to admit to them. Not because she hopes the other party will take the blame instead, but because she's busy being mad at herself for making the mistake in the first place.
28. What are three traits your OC has that can both have positive as well as negative qualities?
First one that comes to mind is obviously her stubborness. Anything she sets out to do she will see till the very end... whatever that is. Then her protectiveness towards her friends... that very easily falls into jealousy (she will never admit to this though) And finally her caring nature, that easily makes her overprotective of her friends and careless for her own safety and comfort.

10. What does your OC carry around in their pockets? What about their bag?
I believe she only brings the essential in her bag and pockets, after all her bodily needs are far less imposing than those of mortals. So she usually just brings some mora, a notebook and pen, and perhaps some medicinal herbs, because you never know when you might need them. The place that you know holds most of her personality is her house, which has accumulated millennia worth of knicknacks over the years. Whether it's small mechanisms gifted to her by Guizhong or Cloud Retainer, or a musical instrument she learned to play centuries ago and still enjoys from time to time, or books on the history of Liyue - both hers and from other sources - or some ancient artifact or another... let's say her house would be worth billions of mora if shown to an appraiser.
11. What is the worst thing that has happened to your OC? How has it affected their behavior, their health, and their life in general?
Well with how long she's lived she's had to experience many deaths throughout the millennia... including that of others she believed to be immortal. The most impactful on her have been those of her parents, which happened directly in front of her and which she was powerless to stop, Guizhong, whom she saw as another mother and one whom she believed would never die, and Bonanus, which she knew would happen eventually but had foolishly hoped she could do something about. To this day she regularly prays to the small shrines she made in their honour, and regularly "talks to them", recounting her daily life, finding solace in the thought that they'd be proud of how both her and Liyue are thriving despite the harsh past. She still has nightmares of those events, and often has trouble sleeping without some calming incense, but it's got better over the centuries. One of the things that's helped her the most is writing down her memories, whether to be published or for her personal keeping, the idea that those events no longer rest solely on her shoulders to live on is a huge weight that's been lifted.
25. How quickly does your OC reach their breaking point? What are they like when this point has been reached?
It has surely been a while since she's reached her breaking point, after all her losses common grievances are but feeble matters for her. That being said, once she does reach her breaking point she knows a fiery personality will surface over her usually calm demeanor, so she has the tendency to isolate, straight up disappearing, until she considers herself calm enough to keep going with her life. This has been going on for quite some time so she does have a lot of accumulated stress and bitterness.
42. What are common things your OC worries about?
She has a lot of very small things she worries about on the daily. She's constantly worried she'll leave her notebook home when she leaves for the day, even though that's never happened, so she'll check her bag and pockets many times throughout the day. She's constantly worried she'll be late to work, even though that has never happened. She worries about what she should make for dinner, even though she either cooks the same few dishes - unless she's cooking for someone else - or eats out... You'd think an immortal would be safe from the grievance of "I have a feeling I forgot something important" but nopppe
...
So... I've accidentally given an OC of mine trauma-based OCD... cool... Sorry girl
