*big* brother touya/dabi and tiny shouto, please !!✨
I don't wanna get rid of this ask because it's not a bad idea but I have absolutely no idea if they wanted a story or not. I have no idea how to write Touya, so Shoto it is, but I'll at least attempt what you wanted! -i think.
This is not gonna have noms so- it's chill to read.
Shoto didn't understand why he wasn't allowed to be held by his big brother. The tot wanted to be in the older kid's arms but their Dad never allowed it no matter how much he cried or begged. If he was honest, he thought his brother looked sad a lot and Momma always said that a hug from a baby made people feel better and that's all he wanted to do.
If Shoto could make people feel better then why shouldn't he? He never saw that Touya was given hugs, which wasn't fair to his big brother since he couldn't play with Natsuo and Fuyumi despite how much he wanted to. The three-year-old could see it in how his big brother would watch the two of them play along with how he'd sometimes catch them both throwing the ball over the inner wall so that the oldest could retrieve it and at least be a little involved.
From what he could understand, which wasn't a lot considering Shoto hadn't even developed his quirk yet, Dad thought Touya was gonna hurt them. He thought their brother couldn't hurt them even though it didn't make sense. The only thing that he sometimes found scary about his big brother was his fire. He didn't like that it made him hurt and he knew that everyone in the family shared his opinion.
His big brother didn't do anything wrong and Shoto was gonna make sure that Touya knew that! The toddler took his chance after he heard Dad storm into the house knowing it meant no one was gonna be allowed around the older for at least an hour. He snuck out by climbing over the fence, having struggled for a few minutes before he managed to get out of the house. He'd tumbled and scraped up his knee but he made sure not to cry! Shoto had to be brave to make sure he got to Touya and showed the big kid that he didn't need to feel like he was a monster or anything bad!
Shoto followed the path with ease, trying not to think about the fact his knee really hurt as he walked. It took him forever to get to where he needed to be! Why did Touya have to be this far away from the house?! The little one frowned as he caught sight of where his brother stayed. The place was big by his standards but Touya was huge! How was he expected to fit inside? He pushed the regular-sized door open, puffing his cheeks out from the effort it took, and immediately got hit with the smell of blood and something sharp he didn't recognize but it reminded him of the doctor.
The toddler began to look around, the place, trying to stay quiet but his bare feet didn't help him. He heard a door open and looked in the direction as a huge door was pulled to the side. Shoto's eyes glowed with delight as he caught sight of the familiar sibling. He didn't hesitate to rush towards him, a giggle leaving his throat as he spoke. "Ya-ya!"
Touya's eyes landed on him quickly. the kid's eyes wide with surprise at having a little boy running at him. He was careful, hands gently wrapping around the child's form as Shoto basically threw himself at him. The tot was completely oblivious to the uncomfortable look on his brother's face, more happy to be with the older than anything else as he happily hugged his thumb.
"You're not supposed to be here Shoto." He whispered, voice less scolding and more amused. The boy smiled and simply reached his hands up, wanting to be lifted higher as he responded.
"Dad not catch me! It fine!" He said swiftly with that loved lack of grammar that littles often had. He immediately clutched Touya's nose as he was lifted, giggling as he tapped it. The boy smiled brightly at the soft smirk on his brother's face, happily bouncing a bit. He felt the warm hands under him, carefully cradling his tiny form. He knew his big brother wasn't gonna hurt him and Shoto didn't even want to consider the thought. Everything was gonna be fine.
He knew it.
