Exploring the Saturn Death Cult: Myth and Modern Influence
Human civilisations: Defined more by change than by any continuity
More importantly, the analogy between history and biology that underpins the clash of civilisations thesis is false. Human groups all the way from small tribes to huge civilisations - are fundamentally different from animal species, and historical conflicts greatly differ from natural selection processes. Animal species have objective identities that endure for thousands upon thousands of generations. Whether you are a chimpanzee or a gorilla depends on your genes rather than your beliefs, and different genes dictate distinct social behaviours. Chimpanzees live in mixed groups of males and females. They compete for power by building coalitions of supporters from among both sexes.
Amid gorillas, in contrast, a single dominant male establishes a harem of females, and usually expels an adult male that might challenge his position. Chimpanzees cannot adopt gorilla-like social arrangements: gorillas cannot start organising themselves like chimpanzees; and as far as we know exactly the same social systems have characterised chimpanzees and gorillas not only in recent decades, but for hundreds of thousands of years.
You find nothing like that among humans. Yes, human groups may have distinct social systems, but these are not genetically determined, and they seldom endure for more than a few centuries. Think of twentieth-century Germans, for example. In less than a hundred years the Germans organised themselves into six very different systems: the Hohenzollern Empire, the Weimar Republic, the Third Reich, the German Democratic Republic (aka communist East Germany), the Federal Republic of Germany (aka West Germany), and finally democratic reunited Germany. Of course the Germans kept their language and their love of beer and bratwurst. But is there some unique German essence that distinguishes them from all other nations, and that has remained unchanged from Wilhelm II to Angela Merkel? And if you do come up with something, was it also there 1,000 years ago, or 5,000 years ago?
The (unratified) Preamble of the European Constitution begins by stating that it draws inspiration 'from the cultural, religious and humanist inheritance of Europe, from which have developed the universal values of the inviolable and inalienable rights of the human person, democracy, equality, freedom and the rule of law'. This may easily give one the impression that European civilisation is defined by the values of human rights, democracy, equality and freedom. Countless speeches and documents draw a direct line from ancient Athenian democracy to the present-day EU, celebrating 2,500 years of European freedom and democracy. This is reminiscent of the proverbial blind man who takes hold of an elephant's tail and concludes that an elephant is a kind of brush. Yes, democratic ideas have been part of European culture for centuries, but they were never the whole. For all its glory and impact, Athenian democracy was a half-hearted experiment that survived for barely 200 years in a small corner of the Balkans. If European civilisation for the past twenty-five centuries has been defined by democracy and human rights, what are we to make of Sparta and Julius Caesar, of the Crusaders and the conquistadores, of the Inquisition and the slave trade, of Louis XIV and Napoleon, of Hitler and Stalin? Were they all intruders from some foreign civilisation?
In truth, European civilisation is anything Europeans make of it, just as Christianity is anything Christians make of it, Islam is anything Muslims make of it, and Judaism is anything Jews make of it. And they have made of it remarkably different things over the centuries. Human groups are defined more by the changes they undergo than by any continuity, but they nevertheless manage to create for themselves ancient identities thanks to their storytelling skills. No matter what revolutions they experience, they can usually weave old and new into a single yarn.

The difference between animal and human societies
简单说:人类文明。 比如:尊老,礼让行人,有礼貌,正直,原谅,谦虚,道德观,价值观,人生观,法律,法规,self-esteem, self- respect, 等等。 I think the only difference is the human has self-fulfilment needs in a civilised society we built. We set the standard of being good and bad. We improve the good part which we set for ourselves. It seems after millions of years evolution, human being is successful among all other species on earth. It seems…

Book Reading: Eastern Perspective Humanistic AI 4C: The onslaughts of AI on human minds
USA and China dominate the designs of AI technologies in their global races of technological supremacy and domination. However, the creation, operations, designs and ownerships of AI technologies are in the hands of big technology companies that put profits over everything, as well as vested interests and state actors who pursue political agendas and missions.
Recent classic example is Elon Musk and Trump who weaponise Starlink to force Ukraine to accept political agreement that sacrifices Ukraine's interests for the sake of secret division of power between USA and Russia.
The Chinese Communist Party is notoriously known to weaponise AI technologies to exert full scale of state techological survaillance and mind controls of their citizens at micro level.
The contents and information generated by these two countries' vested interests are to seduce people into their information traps in order to mold people's ideologies, value systems, worldviews, life views, entertainment views, and religious views. People's are being controlled and manipulated subconsciously and naturally without awaring the impacts.
The 'world' people can see, the 'knowledge' people are taught are carefully, precisely calculated and set up in the alogrithms of the AIs. The AIs become people's addicted flavourable magic mirrors that can always generate tailored personal preferences according to their cyber space consumptions (browsings) profiles.
As people fall deeper into the ILLUSION traps of reality, the more they are disconnected with the facts of reality. The more and more they think they are making real choices out of their freewill whilst they are being set up and used by the big vested behind the screens for reinforcing the latter's political or economic benefits.
Trump and Elon Musk's agendas and their behaviours were clearly reflected during Trump's second term. At the political dinner meeting between Trump admin senior officers and ALL the big social media companies' bosses, they gathered to show loyalty to Trump. Amazon's boss immediately responsed by 'reshaping' the opinion page of Washington Post for 'promotion of freedom'. Yet the 'freedom' Amazon wants to promote is to create, shape and lead opinion spinning FOR Trump and his government.
The collusion between political and technocrats' profits and power seeking desires to achieve their own agendas were not hidden as Trump returns political flavours to Elon Musk by turning the White House into a giantTesla showrooms. Over years, Musk's business receive $21 billion from US government but Musk claimed he 'helped' Ukraine by providing Starlink 'free' to them insteading of mentioning the ULTIMATE GENUINE price Ukraine is now foreced to pay is TOTAL surrendering of 50% of their critical resources to USA. Of course, Musk's enterprise will have FREE access to these critical natural resources to make his satellites, electronic vehicles as Musk becomes the de facto CHIEF staff of the White House.
Despite this, these technocrats still have many users and followers. The personal postings of Elon Must attracted millions of views despite his political stance changed radically in the last couple of years.
How Elon Musk weaponised X against Ukraine’s president Zelensky
AIs possess invisible influcences on the functioning of human minds. AI technologies don't just shape and reinforce people's specific preferences, vested interests weaponise AIs to INLFUENCE people's political judgements in order to reshape politics, economic and social landscapes to fit the agendas of the vested interests. In additional to political influences, AIs can impact many aspects of people's daily life through the vasted information (SET, DESIGNED, FILTERED, AND CENSORED) by the owners and creators of the AI alogrithms to assist people's decisions and judgements. AIs can replace human decisions makings. These are not fictitious, these have been reality as the rise of AIs are an unreversable trend to displace human jobs and functions across different industries globally.
More and more, the vested interests behind the big AI techs have successfully convinced people to believe that human minds are not capable to overcome the intelligence of robots. Natural intelligence of humanity cannot surpass supermachines' intelligence without the 'assistance' of the supermachines.
This becomes an onslaughts on human capabilities to make judgements as people become more relying on AIs to process vast quantities of big data to calculate. The reliance and addiction to AIs will gradually dwarf people's INDEPENDENT THINKING because the big vested interests who own and create AIs indoctrinate people to 'forget' and 'escape' the 'difficulties' of deep thorough considerations and evaluations BEFORE making decisions. They lead people to believe that it is 'more convenient' and 'easy' for people to skip the 'troubles' and 'difficulties' of the THINKING, EVALUATING, CONSIDERING and JUDGING processes. Such abilities that make human beings suprass ALL other living creatures to be INTELLIGENT creatures.
Instead, we are getting used to and comfortable to hand over the natural process of NATURAL HUMAN intelligent working to AIs because we are 'inferior' species who have emotions. Emotions affect our judgements. Machines do not have emotions, therefore they are 'better' decision makers.
Yet the big techautocrats will not say emotionless AIs treat humans as machines instead of understanding and honouring HUMANITY. Their designs are not always humane centered.
They won't tell people that as people are REMOVED from the PARTICIPATION of decision-making process, people are diminished and dispowered for being DEPRIVED of the NEEDS of feeling needed.
As AIs progressively replace and displace humans jobs, human beings will lost dignity of feeling constructive and productive. In this sense, AIs designed to replace and displace human minds' NATURAL intelligence do not really 'free up' people to more 'meaningful' works. People are simply being deprived of having works and meaningful participation in works. People become unproductive if they cannot find other jobs that allow them to exercise HUMAN ABILITIES.
Gradually, displaced human beings will be degraded into uncivilised people not different from beasts because of idleness as described by Mencius (Mengzi) in the first book of dialgoues with Téng wéngōng (an emperor of Teng State during the Spring and Autumn period). As most people displaced by AIs or willingly surrenders HUMAN MINDS natural intelligence works to AIs in order to 'escape' "challenges" of works into 'easy and comfortable' life, human beings will lost the motivation to learn and improve. The motiviations that had been driving PROGRESSIONS of human civilisations since human histories began.
If you're like most people, you probably believe these things about Greek mythology.
I have written before about how psychology is based on Greek Mythology, hell I even went through a period myself, about 5 or 6 years ago when I explored the Greek Myths in my own writing. But, what did that get me? Just an understanding that nothing has progressed. Today I walked past a sign that said that education was not about facts, that it was about creating environments for humans to think. So I see…we’ve done away with facts….AND THE FUCKING WORD IS PANDEMIC WHICH IS A FUCKING FACT! So if you want to bury your head in the sand…go right ahead.

Given the ‘success’ (i.e., a lot of people seem to be reading it) of our recent Ghastly Future paper, I thought it would be interesting to go back and have a look at what we wrote in our 2015 book Killing the Koala on the subject. I think you’ll find that if anything we were probably overly optimistic. An updated digest of that material follows. When your accountant tells you to reduce…

The deforestation of the planet is a fact2. Between 2000 and 2012, 2.3 million Km2 of forests around the world were cut down10 which amounts to 2 × 105 Km2 per year. At this rate all the forests would disappear approximatively in 100–200 years. Clearly it is unrealistic to imagine that the human society would start to be affected by the deforestation only when the last tree would be cut down. The progressive degradation of the environment due to deforestation would heavily affect human society and consequently the human collapse would start much earlier.

Art and Science: Combustion via Art- Juniper Publishers
Introduction
Combustion, burning or fire is the sequence of exothermic chemical reactions between fuel and an oxidant accompanied by the production of heat and conversion of the chemical species to new ones. Combustion supplies most of the energy required by human civilisation where the visible result is fire and flames usually consisting of hot gases and light. The phenomenon of fire is mentioned already in the Bible in Genesis 15:17 as follows:”When the sun had set and darkness had fallen, a smoking firepot with a blazing torch appeared and passes between the pieces.” Probably the earliest reasonably scientific attempt to explain combustion was that of Johannes Baptista van Helmont [1], a Flemish physician and alchemist. He observed the relationship among a burning material, smoke and flame and said that combustion involved the escape of a “wild spirit” from the burning material. In 1667 Johann Joachim Becher [2], a German alchemist and physician, proposed the phlogiston theory. According to it there exist fire-like elements called “phlogiston” that is contained within combustible bodies and are released during combustion. The theory was an attempt to explain processes such as combustion and the rusting of metals, which are now understood as oxidation. It was the great French chemist Antoine Laurent Lavoisier [3] who rejected traditional thinking and framed a new definition of combustion that was widely accepted. Combustion, he said, is the process by which some material combines with oxygen.
In the following combustion is presented via artworks. Figure 1 demonstrates practical application of combustion to burners used in domestic and outdoors gas stoves. The regular burner and its flame are shown on the top of the figure. Due to the arrangement of the holes in the burner that are turning outside, the flame is also turning outside. In 1990 the author developed an efficient gas burner in which the holes are turning to the centre of the burner and are located at some angle with respect to the radius of the burner. In this year, the largest manufacturer of camping equipment in Israel launched the market with a new product, the Rotoflame Camping Cooker. The burner and its flame are shown at the bottom of (Figure 1) where its flame is concentrated and rotating. The stove based on it has the following characteristics:
1) Thermal efficiency is higher by 20-25% than regular burners. 2) Boiling of water is accelerated considerably. 3) Due to rotation of the flame, mixing with air is better, thus reducing air pollution. The Polish surrealist artist Jaceck Yerka [4] painted Figure 2 entitled “Eruption” that demonstrates combustion inside a big hole of a mountain. The Belgium surrealist artist Rene Magritte (1898-1967) painted Figure 3 entitled “The Discovery of Fire” and Figure 4 (right-hand-side) entitled “Portrait of Edward James”. In order to emphasise the effect of combustion in artwork the authors changed the colour from yellow to red in Figure 4 (left-hand-side).
Figure 5 is a surrealistic artwork, “The Fire”, painted by Giuseppe Arcimboldo [5], Mannerism Italian painter. Figure 6 entitled “Whaaam” demonstrates combustion due to firing of the enemy by an aircraft. Roy Lichtenstein, an American pop artist, painted it. Rudolph Ackerman an Anglo-German bookseller, inventor and lithographer painted Figure 7 entitled “Fire in London”. Figure 8 entitled “Funky Fire” demonstrates a surrealistic fire giving an impression of a terrible combustion. Figure 9 demonstrates a surrealistic “Atomic Bomb Tree” artwork associated with fire. Figure 10 is another surrealistic artwork of fire entitled “Sacred Fire of Pele, Goddess of Hawaii Volcano” that is located in the Hawaiian Art Gallery by Olga Schevchenko [6]. In Figure 11 an interesting surrealistic folding fire is presented where our demonstrations are terminated in Figure 12 by the impressive artwork of Magritte entitled “The Gradation of Fire”. In conclusion the author believes that the artistic demonstrations of combustion gives to this phenomenon a wider view and it becomes more attractive to the viewer.
