Jane, the evolved computer intelligence, can save the three sentient species of Lusitania. She has learned how to move ships outside the universe and then instantly back to a different world, abolishing the light-speed limit. I was not a fan of the final installment in Card’s Ender Quartet. I disliked Children of the Mind because its plot was drawn out unnecessarily. I also tired of the excessive grammatical and punctuation errors. Third, I did not appreciate the fact that it failed to wrap up some of its (major) plotlines. An example would be the plotline involving Warmaker’s pequeninos who sought to spread the descolada virus to new worlds. Finally, I felt as though all of the characters got worse and became both unbearable and unpleasant to read. A prime example would be Quara, who can only be described as obnoxious—she spends all of her time and energy trying to piss off everyone around her.
