Guuhmm, idk how much ill share but a pretty basic runthrough is he grew up in a farmhouse on his parents large property. Hes southern, somewhere in Tennessee, outside a small town.
Hes parents are, to put it lightly, shitty and overbearing. Part of his avatar being a ragdoll is the fact that his mother (in particular) tried using him for her own benefits as he grew up. The oppurtunity to live through him (and him alone, the only "girl" amongst his brothers) was too much to pass up. At one point or another he began to rebel against her and his father, slowly ensuring his mother view him as wasted potential. Blah blah blah his parents play favorites and as soon as he can he moves out and gets his own place in a reasonably decent apartment complex. Its not perfect but anything was better than having to live with his family.
He worked small jobs on the side until he found a solid income at a local restraunt. He didnt enjoy it at all, but the money made it seem just a bit more worth it. In his free time hed skate around town, using old train yards and desolate buildings as a canvas for his graffiti.
He also has a habit of sneaking small animals into his apartment if he is to find any that need his help. This is definitely something that could get him in trouble but he has the softest spot for animals. People are too unpredictable and untrustworthy, animals are much easier to enjoy and spend his time on. He releases them once they're ready.
He leads a pretty simple life, trying to drag himself out of depression and spend his time doing the things that he loves. He didnt get to live a proper childhood, so he tries to find ways to feel more fulfilled in his adult life.
That is, until he comes across a headset and goes missing, of course. In the circus, Freddy has a horrible first few days. Jax serves as a good distraction, as annoying as he is. Their relationship is messy and all over the place, but both keep coming back to eachother time and time again. Freddy convinces himself that hes happier in the circus in an effort to stay sane. By the time the events of ep4 take place that facade has begun to crack, and hes thrown into facing uncomfortable feelings and refusing help from his peers only makes it worse.

Will Lacey be in the royal AU? If so, what have you thought of as her part?
(I'm kind of hoping she's to be reader's handmaid and Steven reader's knight (maybe a noble) so I can ship the maid being in love with a knight XD and I think Lacey and Steven are adorable I kind of want more of them too Lol if only to fuel my reasoning for reader to be so supportive of untraditional pairs XD but also none of this has to be a part of it and just my own imaginings)
Lacey is definitely Reader’s main handmaid and I never thought of Steven being their knight, but that’s perfect because I had no clue where to put him!! Officer Manuel is Reader’s royal advisor that also comes with to Prince Soleil’s kingdom while PI Christopher Parker is one of the main leading Knights in Prince Soleil’s kingdom where Atlas had troubles with him growing up into knighthood. He made the tests hell on Atlas. Misty (though not a big character in the fic AT ALL) was another choice for Soleil for marriage, but no one liked her. She pretty much came, walked all over the place, and then left and was never talked to again.
I feel like Soleil’s main knight before Atlas was Freddy, but he did his time so he could retire to have a now quiet life with his beau Bonnie, probably a baker in town that fell for Freddy when they were young and while Freddy was just try to get into being accepted as a possible option for new royal knights! Auntie Chia is still Auntie Chica, she simply resides in another kingdom still with Queen Maria’s family where she originally was from. She still is very much “close” with a similar aged older princess from another country named Roxanne. They both keep denying suitors and visit each other much too often. Lucia is somewhere in town doing her best to survive. Cash and Ace are probably big time problems for the royal family that have been causing ruckus in the town. Deimos is just a troublesome guy on the streets making ends meet while flirting with one of the Knights/guards for the castle that sometimes comes to market to pick up things for the prince or his betrothed. Knight Monty tries to ignore Deimos seeing as they are probably just some troubled seller of wares that obviously don’t come from them, but he hates that he kinda likes them and has to come to their shop most for the things the Prince and his betrothed are looking for. Deimos flirts a lot with this handsome knight, and Knight Monty probably gets them out of bullshit too often for a royal knight to be doing with some random citizen.
I think it’d be so cute if reader would hype them both up to talk with each other or would sneak away so they’d have moments alone (looking for their royal who they have LOST ONCE AGAIN.) I think Steven is still such a gentleman and kind of not the smartest so he doesn’t realize that handmaid Lacey is trying to get his attention, but she’s cautious because she fell for a knight before and it went HORRIBLY. (It was one of Steven’s knight friends, and he let her down so sadly because he’s a knight and she’s just a simple maid that it broke her little heart. She doesn’t realize that Steven is a himbo who wouldn’t care of the status of being a royal knight. He just thinks she’s pretty and does her job well! That speaks for something, right?)
Little lovestruck Handmaid Lacey looking at Knight Steven and Royal Reader saying “You could flirt with him so hard and he wouldn’t even notice! You should just do it and see if he catches on!” And Lacey just goes “No no no! I cannot! Not again! It will end in disaster, your majesty!” While also whispering to Knight Steven “My handmaid is quite cute, don’t you think? What do you think of her?” And he just goes, “Oh, she is very pretty, but she seems so busy and nervous around me! I’m a pretty big knight! I must make her nervous. Maybe if I crouch when she is around she’d be more comfortable!”
I love them. Even if Lacey likes a different football player in my fic at the moment, I still full-heartedly love Lacey x Steven!!!
