more about Lute's story and how she became an exorcist
as I mentioned before, her real name is Lucia
was born in Aquitaine and was the daughter of a lute maker; grandfather was a basque, a well-known local musician
got a fairly good education at the local church, could read Latin and wrote fluently (this was quite unusual for a girl of low birth)
never had a crisis of faith, but was definitely disappointed in the institution of the church
then the incident with Martin Luther (1517) happened, and the Reformation began, and Lucia suddenly realized that THIS was her destiny ✨ she was an active participant in the Reformation movement and even gathered people, but of course, later she was captured, interrogated, and burned as an ardent heretic
to the (likely) disappointment of the inquisitors, Eden and Sheol have a slightly different opinion about heretics, so Lucia's deeds turned out to be pretty godly
girl didn't want to stay away when she learned about the torments of sinners and the possibility of giving them a quick death, and asked Adam to teach her
now she's his best soldier (in the future, the next commander) and favourite granddaughter
