Hazbin Hotel (Traditional) Art Dump

A lot of this is from months ago when I first started watching Hazbin and was trying to learn how the style worked, but some of it is from this week :3

Most of this sketchbook art was done with Tombow duel tip brush markers, Posca paint pens and highlighters :3

Jasper's first and second Gen desgns for those who looked under the cut LMAO I really like all versions of them, but I'm trying to figure out exactly what direction I wanna go in, and I think I'm closer above the cut :3 (I did the first Jazz design before I switched to CSP and brooo it's so much stiffer, its wild!!!) (No I will not sut up about how much I love CSP XD)

Their story is really fun lmao I just keep thinking about them XD

Hooman versions of Alastor, Nifty aand Husk but I put too much effort in making them look kind of historically accurate.

Edit: the first four episodes have recently come out and I need to update their designs (especially husks 💀) also if they bring up alastor's backstory I'm praying to god that they mention literally ANYTHING to do with him being a mixed radio host in the 30s like c'mon that's so interesting

Unnamed Hazbin Hotel AU

Random thought Hazbin Hotel AU where human Alastor finds and takes care of Nifty.

Alastor kills a man not realizing their child is there because Nifty is still young and small, maybe three or five years old. The man not treating her right so she sees Alastor as some kind of hero who saved her.

Alastor, not wanting to hurt a child, decides to dispose of the evidence and leave hoping she can't remember what he looks like.

Nifty, wanting to help, starts helping clean up. She tried to help dig but only had her hands. By the time they're done, she's covered head to toe in dirt.

Well, now Alastor can't just leave her like this! It'd be suspicious. They'd wonder where all the dirt came from.

Alastor takes Nifty home for a bath and to wash her clothes. He even gives her a snack before dropping her off somewhere to try to get rid of her.

She keeps following him though. With every twist and turn she's there, clinging to him. He even tried running but she's faster than she looks.

He eventually has no other choice but to let people know this child found him and won't let him leave his side because it would look more suspicious if he didn't. He fears something has happened to her family if she's clinging to a stranger for comfort.

Any attempt of trying to separate her from him has ended with sobbing and/or biting. It was decided, without him, that he should take care of her until she calmed or her parents were found.

After a month of taking care of her, Alastor is surprised to find himself kind of attached. A good part of it I'd probably due to her knowing what he does and not judging or hating him. If anything she seems curious. So he tells her the best ways to kill, the different levels of pain certain injuries can cause, and how to hide bodies.

The two are a normal, happy family, strange tendencies aside. Unfortunately, nothing good can last forever.

Nifty is sick so Alastor goes to dispose of someone himself. He never comes back. She makes sure the one that did this will never return either.

Years later in hell Nifty hears stories, radio broadcasts with a familiar voice. She can never find him though. So she works to gain power and become an overlord worthy of his attention.

After years of effort, he's there, he's actually there. He doesn't even have to ask for her soul, she offers it. Just as long as he never leaves her behind again.
