Hi! I think you’re being so brave! Please make sure it’s safe to come out to YOURE parents when you do! (Like a safe environment etc.)

I did the same thing when I came out. It wont be easy, but it all works out!! Good luck. :-)
Thank you so much for you support, guys. <3 This means a lot to me, seriously. Thank you.
I was thinking about sending them the letter this afternoon before going to college, so that when I got back by night, they would have already read it and would be ready to talk. I also thought about handing it to them in person and waiting for them to read it.
But I'm too scared to do it now. They have literally made fun of every apparently gay person who appeared on TV during lunch, and they really are openly anti-gay, even when it comes to basic rights. Though they don't consider themselves homophobes because God forbid, right.
To top it off I keep having dreams about my mother's reaction and they actually turn into nightmares I don't want to come true.
But I'm also terrified that someone will tell them before me. Some fucker who saw me at the club with my girlfriend, and decided to "spread the news".
I live in constant fear and it's killing me.
Perhaps I will have more peace if I just tell them, because I won't have to worry about "what ifs" anymore. They probably will reject me and condemn me, try to fix me and tell the whole fucking family about how fucked up I turned out to be, but at least it won't be something just in my head, because it's driving me crazy.
Even though my mother is very religious and believes queer people will spend all eternity rotting in hell because they are disgusting and evil, and my father has the emotional stability of a pre-teen with mommy issues, perhaps I should just tell them so I don't have to deal with my maddening anxiety anymore.
I may share the letter I wrote with you guys in the near future.
