im sorry if this is disgusting or not the right place to ask it but i have a question. its probably a stupid question but im just wondering. is it normal to not have clear skin on my boobs? i sometimes get pimples on my breasts and it leaves a mark and im not sure what to do about that. i scar very easily and the skin where the pimple used to be is discolored and still pink but its flat and its been a while and the color isnt returning back to the way it was before and i havent seen anyone else with this. is there some way to make it go away? right now i dont have any pimples or zits or whatever but my skin still looks disgusting to me and im not sure what to do and if its normal. im a teenager btw, if puberty has to do with this. when i get top surgery will the marks still be there? sorry if this doesnt make sense or whatever i just feel really embarrassed, like i dont know how to take care of my body properly or whatever.
Not disgusting and absolutely not a stupid question!
It's very common, actually. It's fairly rare for people to have no marks on their boobs whatsoever and things like pimples are common causes of marks on breasts.
Some people scar more easily as well, which can be helped by being very careful and using acne products [they work on your breasts too, for the most part!] but sometimes, the end result is simply having scars where you've had pimples.
A lot of them fade over a longer period of time like most scars, though. [Though sometimes it takes awhile!]
There are scar lotions for helping them fade faster but I don't have much knowledge on those. [I also scar easily all over the place but I've never tried any.] Maybe someone else on here does?
And top surgery scars can stay, it depends on your body, how long we're talking [because some scars stay for a couple years and then fade away] and how much you and your surgeon talked about it. For example, some surgeons use techniques more likely to fade, scar-wise, while others don't.
This makes sense, don't worry. And it's not like people talk about subjects like this frequently [at least properly], it makes sense you wouldn't know. <3
I hope this helps, though. Let me know if you have anymore questions!
