evidently this is The Spot for the plecos. They’ve been pretty nice to each other. The bristlenose even graciously allowed new kid to enjoy his favorite hide while he was away and didn’t chase it out when he came back.
Someday the L-??? will find the other hides, but it seems to be getting comfortable in this one quarter of the tank for now.

It’s a photo trip to the Rio Xingú! There’s a lot of plecos, and some other fish. (Of course there’s zebra plecos, it’s very neat seeing their habitat and other fish that live there. Pleco biotopes are some of the coolest photo sets.)
The pics are great, including one pleco researcher holding the pleco named after him. There is also a very interesting zebra pleco “cave” too.
