Hyperfixtations I have that no one else cares about (1): shinbi apartment

(P.S: I've only seen season 1's dub and three episodes of season 2 that I've found to be dubbed)

Production?

The haunted house/secret of the ghost ball/shimbi apartment is a south korean animated series (it's actually the most popular animated series of korea apparently) it Premiered on tooniverse a korean cartoon and anime channel on July 20,2016 before having it's first season be dubbed and put on Netflix. It ran for 5 seasons And multiple movies and specials not to mention a live action show based on the series and a few mobile games.

Synopsis?

Two siblings Hari and doori koo move into a apartment and meet a goblin named shimbi who's magical power is tied to the apartment and after eating the goblin taffy hari and doori gain the ability to see ghosts and now fight ghosts to purify their souls and help them move on to the afterlife to help shimbi in return for shimbi granting them wishes

Why I like it?

Well the show has nice animation quality,well written characters,and I like the art style. Plus it has great lore and the ghosts in it are interesting (while also being nightmare fuel) and cool.

Mvp/who carried the show (imo): there are two candidates for me. Kang-lim choi and ian the red eyed boy.

Kang-lim is a mysterious handsome student at their school. He's extremely apathetic and emo and doesn't care about anybody else (not over exaggerating). He serves as a anti hero and somewhat of a antagonist and also the love interest to hari. He's revealed in episode 5 to have powers (particularly associated with his magical cards. Yugioh style) and is A exorcist who fights ghosts on his own but traps them in his cards instead of purifying them like hari and doori. Now aside from being a unique mysterious bad boy what's to like about this selfish asshole? Well he has a sympathetic backstory involving a mother who sacrificed herself to stop satan from rising (not a exaggerating) and he is called out for his flaws and gets some character development (e.g. Episode 15)

Ian is a side character in the show he serves as a love interest to one of the main characters gauen he's introduced in the tenth episode of season one named after himself "Ian the red eyed boy". He's a mysterious silver hair boy who is inexplicably strong and fast,doesn't get cold,for some reason his eyes turn red,he can't enter homes without being invited,and is never shown in sunlight. So if you can't tell from my description ian is A vampire but unlike his older brother zion is a good vampire who doesn't feast on human blood. He also has a special magic ring and is A vampire prince.
