Thor 4
So yeah, Marvel announced Thor 4: Thor Love and Thunder.
And my Marvel fan heart is kind of “broken” because Jane becoming Thor is one of the ideas I expected to watch in the MCU since I found out the story in the comics but at this point bringing back Jane is kind of... It does not make sense.
If you know some of the story behind Jane as Thor, there are a lot of important moments with Jane that we were not able to watch in the movies. I mean, she has been irrelevant since Thor 2: Thor the Dark World. Then from “thanks to magic” she is not only back but she is going to be Thor. what?
If Marvel is not making Thor 4 based in another universe then this movie does not make sense because: Jane is somewhere but we don’t know where, Thor is in space and there is no Mjolnir.
If Marvel makes this movie just because “we can” and does not explain anything at all then it will end up as another bad Civil War movie.
Also what I did not like about the announcement was that Marvel just make it official that Jane was going to be Thor even when Thor needs a “redemption” or “come back” story still to be told. It looks like Marvel does not care anymore about the development of the character and they are just saying “yeah, we know Thor is still alive and does not want to be Thor God of Thunder anymore so here, have your new Thor”. Marvel did not do this to Steve Rogers, they developed the character and gave us a good end for the character. After that Falcon became the new Captain America.
When Marvel let Endgame writers changed Thor ideas I thought they would have taken the time to give the character a new and fresh beginning but like THIS?, rushing the announcement that he is not going to be Thor God of Thunder?
I think the Thor we saw at Ragnarok wanted to prove the point of his father that in fact he was more worthy than a hammer could tell him but after Infinity War and Endgame... I am still waiting for his potential to really show up.
I mean just like Bruce Banner, Tony Stark or Steve Rogers, all of them proved that after all the pain and bad decisions, they could keep going.
Steve did not know what to do with his life, he even buried the love of his life but he keep on going. Bruce tried to killed himself, he hated his life as Hulk but he embraced his powers and found a way to live with it. Tony was going to die because of his sickness but the words of his father gave him the strenght to continue.
Thor Odinson deserves better
Also what about Loki’s promise?
why do u hate kevaaron? it's a bit weird to me just bc they're happy in their own separate relationships but that's it.
aaron is canonically homophobic and it’s annoying to me to see people ship a homophobic man with another man. i understand that aaron gets better and you can headcanon him having a redemption arc, but i’m just personally uncomfortable with the idea. they’ve both gone through so much abuse i can’t see that relationship being a healthy one. also there’s like ,,, no indicators anywhere in the series of their interest towards each other. it’s just another ship and i happen to not like it that’s all
Me: *sees something for a ship I don’t like/ship*
