"KUSUO!!! I miss you."

Your voice said through the phone as Kusuo moved it away from his ear. It had only been a few months since you moved back into your dorm at (fuckass college name idk) and you had already missed Kusuo bad. Sure, he can teleport and what not but still! He does online classes which take up most of his time leading you to be lonely.

Yeah, you made friends at college but still! Who wouldn't miss their fiancé if they're (whatever distance brah) away?! Kusuo sighed through his nose before responding, "It's only been a few months, relax," Kusuo said, though he had a hint of amusement in his tone. You just groaned in response. "I know! I just feel so lonely again! My roommates this year suck ass, one has those weird mini stoves so the dorm smells horrible and the other doesn't do laundry! I mean, come on! I wished you could've been here with me," You said, switching from your laying position to lay upside down.

Kusuo let out a small dry chuckle. "You'll be fine, it's only a few more months before your break," He said as he logged onto his laptop to check his classwork. You sighed as you kicked your legs. "I know..but still! I just wanna finish college, bro," You sighed again shaking your head even though he couldn't see it.

"One more year," Kusuo reminded you before seeing that he had class soon. "I have to go, love you," Kusuo said as you reluctantly murmured an 'love you too.' He hung up the phone and logged onto his computer for his class. Kusuo wouldn't admit it but he missed those days in high school, he may have said that he found your company annoying but ever since you both started college he started to miss your presence. Those stupid jokes, the weird brain-rot, the way you would ever so slightly try to have any form of physical touch, everything about you he missed.

After his class ended he started to look at old pictures you took on his phone. One of him smiling ever so slightly, one of you both after a movie, one of a date at Cafe Mami, and the best one was the one he took, of you. It was a late picture, when he proposed. He had wore his germanium ring in order to make it more special. It was cute. Your words, not his. He had specifically catered it to your liking. A cute picnic at sunset, before that you went strawberry picking, and then when the sun set, he proposed to you. Words he remember clear as day.

"Y/n, ever since you came into my life, I saw life in a different light. Without realizing it, you made my life a little less disastrous. I enjoyed the talks we have, even if it may not seem like it, I truly love you. Even if I don't express it clearly, I want you to know that I mean it. I can't see another life that you aren't in, regardless if we're lovers or friends. I'm grateful that in this universe we are lovers, and I want to make the extra step and make you my spouse. Y/n L/n, will you marry me?"

Those exact words had made you cry happy tears, that day was a big step forward in this life time. Kusuo knows that in every other universe, he wants to be with you. And he finally doesn't feel like just a psychic, he feels like Kusuo. Your Kusuo. And that's all he needs to feel normal. This whole relationship was.. how can he describe it? Ah, it was....
