arcane unrelated but i've been noticing the increasing normalization of lesbophobia and yes i have an opinion about it

a couple of notorious formerly lesbian singers came out to be in straight relationships this year. a damn big gay male influencer in argentina, shamelessly said "dykes never have their sexuality confirmed", among other things. this all leads to people grow disgustingly comfortable to be lesbophobic.

there is a particular video of this woman saying that she's part of the queer community and she's proud of being "obsessed with a boy"—which is not a big deal, who cares.

i do, however, have a problem when she says "it shouldn't be illegal to fall in love" and "it's like a crime to be straight" ??? "i hold space for her (renee rap) if she changes her mind in ten years"

when i say i've never seen someone question a gay man over his sexuality like they do to lesbians bro, it's sickening and fucking tiring.

honestly it all better stay here on the internet because if i see someone saying shit like that to my face, theirs is gonna become unrecognizable.

If I had a nickel for every time I agreed to be in a relationship with a man and then found out that he was hiding the fact that his family was full of millionaires and that he, despite being the younger sibling, was the “golden child” and would be inheriting his family legacy and work or whatever and thought I was a perfect woman to lead alongside him and carry on the line, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice
