Gar are my favorite freshwater fish for many reasons, but one big one is definitely the fact that sometimes they do this

I love when episodes start immediately after the next; we kick off this one with Gar behaving sensibly, the only one of the group to do so, but probably also the only one capable and able to do so given all that’s going on with the rest.

Anyway— 

Remember when you told me not to go “crazy” this Valentine’s Day? Well, to be honest, whether you said that or not, I’m not sure. I stopped listening when your tone turned cautionary, but I’m pretty sure what I’ve done for you will make up for that.

Go ahead and turn on the news. They should be covering that right about now. Yeah. Yeeeeaaahhh! You’re seein’ this, right? My heart’s burnin’ for you, babe! And now everyone on the east wing of Gotham General knows it, too. Didn’t even have to practice to burn that heart into the building. Came out right the first try. Your mantoy’s awesome in case you didn’t know. ;) I would have added our initials to it, but Batman showed up. :/ Guess he’s not a fan of true love or a good time like we are. 

Don’t worry, babe. I’m fine. I lost him somewhere around Fifth and Industrial. Two-Face let me lay low for the night (good thing I called heads!), and I even managed to put in a good word for you to some of his guys. Just watch out for Donnie if he shows up at your door. Guy’s shifty and I don’t trust him, but he’s also a piss ant, so you should be able to handle him fine, no problem.

By now, I’m sure you’ve noticed the rose petals and candles everywhere, too. I know it’s a fire hazard, but it’s romantic. Let me do this for you, dammit! I also managed to find bars of that goat soap or whatever you like and a couple bath bombs—highly disappointing. Not at all as exciting as promised, and no, I did not try one—but I’m sure you’ll like ‘em. So go ahead and pamper yourself, gorgeous. I’ll be home tonight to help you along with that. ;)
