URGENT MESSAGE FOR ALL TOKIMEMO “BOY’S SIDE” FANS ON TUMBLR!!!

Hey there, as you might have figured out by now, I’m a huge TokiMemo fan, and I mostly play the dating girls games, or “boy’s side” games. I have been having a problem in TokiMemo 1 for a long time now and I really need advice! If you have played or know anything about TokiMemo 1, preferably the PS1 version in particular, (I have this and the Switch version but I am only in this situation on PS1 right now), please read below the cut!!!!

Hey again. So, I own all the main TokiMemo girl games, and currently, I have done the most on the PS1 TokiMemo 1; I have cleared 5 girls so far.

However, the next character I want to date is Megumi Mikihara, and for months, I have been trying just to make her show up during the first Christmas party or Valentine’s Day, and have been unsuccessful every time I try! I have attempted to reach her through both events and she is not appearing any time. I know already that you have to have a decent relationship with Shiori so that she will introduce you to Megumi, but I have tried with a lot of Shiori interaction and little Shiori interaction in the first year before these events and Megumi has not appeared at any relationship level. I could try to get Shiori up to the very good or the tokimeki (blushing) affection states, but I don’t want to do this because I am not trying to date her in the end and it seems incredibly unrealistic to try and reach this affection with her in less than a year of in-game time; her affection is difficult to raise quickly anyway. Even when I reload to try the events where you can meet Megumi over again, nothing changes.

I have tried to search the internet for tips, but there is nothing helpful. All the internet cares to share is:

• Maintain a good relationship with Shiori

• Things about Megumi herself, or things that only matter when you actually have the ability to date her

As stated, I have exhausted the internet’s general knowledge, and I am seeking your help! Please, if anyone has dated Megumi before or just played this game extensively, please send any advice you have from your own playing experience to help Megumi show up during the first two opportunities! By now I would say I’m pretty good at navigating the mechanics of TokiMemo games, but I have no idea what to do anymore. Any help is accepted gratefully, let me know any time in any way.

I also have a few questions to ask that might help me if you can answer, even if you don’t think you have any actual advice:

• Do stats matter here? I usually try to keep all my stats at decent, well-rounded levels unless a girl requires otherwise. However, if stats being raised to particular thresholds impacts the ability to meet Megumi, please let me know and I will work to attain those stats next time.

• Is there an affection level you might say is ideal for Shiori to have for this to work? When I am not trying to date Megumi in both versions of this game, I often find Shiori introducing her to me with varying affection levels for me; anywhere from sad to very good. I can’t tell what level she actually needs to do it. Anything you have noticed about this?

• Can she introduce herself? I have heard online that Megumi can actually introduce herself without Shiori if your stats are high enough, however, is this even true? If it is, can she only do it on the event dates when she is typically met, or are there other opportunities for her to appear without Shiori?

Hello, my lovelies!

My 'EPIC: The Fair Maiden' series only has one or two chapters left before it ends and, even though I started it for funsies with only the beginning and end vaguely planned, there are now two versions of the series!

This leads me to contemplate whether I should write two different endings, one specific to each version! I've been quite indecisive about it so I will be conducting a poll!

To help your decision, I will reveal that the original ending is that the reader returns home to the exact time she originally left ... (and this will likely be the ending for both if the poll makes it so)

I cannot get over how we got THE BEST SHIP CAPTAINS EVER. They are the absolute perfect Pen and Colin.
