Day 7: Cliff

Kerbos sat with his hand brushing through Yuli’s hair, feet swinging idly out over the edge of the cliff. His wings ached after flying for so long, holding Yuli close to him. His little adrenaline junkie, demanding that he drop both of them out of the skies before catching them on the wind again.

She sighed with a happy smile, reaching up to poke his cheek, the tip of his nose when he looked down at her. “Kerbyyy~ what’re you thinking about?”

He smiled back down at her, gently tugging on her hair. “Nothing much. What about you, my little daredevil?”

“I think I want to try to make a video up here at some point,” she said, rolling herself upright. He wrapped an arm around her waist to make sure she wouldn’t fall, tugging her close to his side. “I’ll need some different cameras, though - I don’t wanna bring the others, they’re expensive and kinda fragile.”

Kerbos pressed his face to her hair, nodding a little as he held her comfortably. “I’m sure I can find something, if you want me to take care of it.”

“Would you?” He could hear the smile in her voice before she giggled, turning in his grip to loop her arms around his neck, brushing her nose across his cheek before giving him a soft kiss. “That’d be nice~”

“Of course, Yules. What kinda video would you want to make, anyway?”

“Well, I was thinking we could record some of our flights?” She hummed, setting her forehead against his, teasing kisses across his cheek, at the corner of his lips. “It’d be fun, I think.”

He smiled, brushing fingers across her cheek in turn. “Yeah, that’d be interesting.”

“Let’s go home, Kerby,” she whispered, holding onto him a bit tighter.

And Kerbos found himself laughing a little, climbing to his feet as she wrapped her legs around his waist. “Yeah, let’s go,” he murmured back to her, before he leaned forward and fell, hearing her shriek of laughter before his wings carried them along.

ok but:  a young boy who’s family ostracizes him due to who he is,  who one day finds himself among a forest full of slender trees and snow,  the cold nothing against his thin, thin skin.  wings sprout like blossoms from his back,  reaching petals of ivory feathers - he doesn’t remember much.  doesn’t remember anything.

a young creature with ivory wings,  thin frame,  and he finds himself wandering;  lost.  he can fly of course,  has a gorgeous glamour that hides the protrusions that grow from his back like ugly scars;  wanders,  and finds himself.

he finds himself laying upon a hospital bed,  deep into a coma.

how?  he fell.

how?  he tripped.

how?  nobody knows.

isaac’s story is one of finding the truth,  of accepting what’s lost.  of finding himself,  and finding comfort in who he is.

it’s about facing death,  and in the end isaac becomes something he’s comfortable with,  just as his family pulls the plug.

Star Wars Villains - [1/?] Sheev Palpatine - Emperor Palpatine - Darth Sidious

Son of the Naboo noble Cosinga, Palpatine grew up to be cruel and filled with rage. His opposition of his father gained him the attention of Darth Plagueis - under the guise of Magister Hego Demask of Demask Holdings. Cosinga learned of his son's relationship with Demask and decided to send Palpatine away somewhere he could no longer contact Demask. However, Palpatine destroyed his entire family and their guards using nothing but the Force. Once this was done, he contacted Plagueis and was apprenticed to him.

In the following years, Palpatine grew in power and learned many secrets from Darth Plagueis in the Dark Side of the Force. The two were often experimenting with the Dark Side, and one of their experiments lead to the Force to be tilted out of balance. In response, the Force created Anakin Skywalker, also known as the Chosen One. Upon receiving the power and ability to do so, Palpatine killed his master Plagueis, following the Rule of Two Sith tradition that the apprentice surpasses the master.
