Vicha looking away from Phoom as he tries to apologize again and again and is dragged away by his mother who wanted nothing more than to keep them apart and the parallel of Somkid encouraging Home to go apologize while setting him up to fail because Peach was playing hard to get is just... it's so much.

Phoom's mother locked him up to keep him away from the man he loved and Home's family demands his lays low, gets quiet, rather than face any consequences for what he did even when Home is ready to apologize and face what he did.

Peach was ready to accept his apology only to be greeted by the silent and distraught face of Home's spirit unable to tell him, unable to show him, the same way Phoom was unable to get Vicha to see his attempt at an apology but also the same way that Phoom's apology could still not change anything.

By withholding his forgiveness, Peach may have lost the chance to save Home. By wanting to play hard to get, to get the Perfect Apology even when he knew Home was sincere, he has found himself facing a future where he cannot get him back.

(But he will put him back together, he will do what Phoom could not, what Vicha could not, he will see the apology and accept the sincerity and they will not be alone again.)

I'm sorry, I'm sorry, it's another post from me about the queer parallels and metaphors in Peaceful Property because I love that they did this tragic love story and how they showed the dance together, the love story being shared across life and death and how that didn't free Vicha entirely but did give him peace and gave that same peace to Phoom as well because even when the love does not end in joy, being able to embrace your love can still give you joy.

((I swear this is my last one I just love this so much and the queer metaphor and the queer parallels and the sheer depth of a show that started as a lighthearted comedy about a chef that sees ghosts.))
