I miss the person I was before I made this

They're both distant to love, the doctor has lost so so many people he loves, he's had to lose his loved ones over and over again. He's scared that he'll lose or hurt more people he cares about.

Missy hasn't lost loads of people, no she's lost one specific person over and over again, that person being the doctor. She's scared to fall for him again because she knows she'll just leave being heartbroken.

This was fun, and a little stressful too! I need to work on getting a stronger hook on my opening sentences and post more frequently. I write slow, but I do love posting and sharing my work! It’s definitely making me think about my current WIP.

hoseok, jin and namjoon just seem like those members you ignore lol

In what way? If it’s lack of fics, I 1) write excruciatingly slow, and 2) Jimin, my bias, has nothing at all, so it’s hardly an indicator. I’ve also stated several times that I wouldn’t be doing any one shots for Jungkook or Taehyung after TOT until everyone else has at least one. Hoseok has a vampire one-shot planned, Jin has a 2nd one-shot coming, and Namjoon is going to be the lead of my next series. Can I also point out that Jin and Namjoon’s one-shots were the first ones I wrote? 

So… yeah. Okay…

WIP week

Yesterday was Day 4 - AU. Since all my fic is AU, for the most part, here’s a couple snippets of stuff I’ve been poking at :-)

Gold didn't know why she'd come that first day. Boredom. Curiosity, maybe. It wasn't just to lure the eyes of pious men or else she wouldn't have made her way to his confessional, filled his burning ears with her filthy secrets. He'd sent her away with a stern admonishment and enough Hail Marys to keep her dirty mouth occupied until the next Sunday service.

And then she returned. Week after week. Another barely appropriate dress, another crimson lipped smile, another session on that wooden bench. Her sweet, liquor-scented voice filling the closed-in space, ripe with new temptations.

The next chapter of  Blue-eyed Murder in a Size 5 Dress:

Ruby didn't really get it, anyway. She looked at Mr. Gold and saw what anyone saw. An older man with a sometimes tricky accent and a bum leg. Ruby saw Mr. Gold as just another somewhat tyrannical wielder of red pen ink, bent on destroying the lives of innocent students through the clever ruse of homework and weighted grade point averages.

Ruby didn't see the humor in Gold’s deadpan critiques, the way he lit up when describing a favorite character, suddenly getting carried away with adjectives and hand flourishes. Ruby didn't notice the way the sunlight caught his warm brown eyes, turning them almost golden in the afternoons. Or the sensual curve of his mouth when he caught her eye just after making a sly joke that no one else seemed to get.

His mouth… fucking hell what the mouth could do to her. Lacey’s knees went weak just thinking about it and she’d only had a taste.

Chapter 5 of  No Deal (under the cut because it’s NSFW)

By the time Lacey got home from Mr. Gold’s shop, breathless and thoroughly fucked, she was too tired to do much of anything but kick off her shoes and pass out on the bed. It wasn’t until the morning light lulled her into consciousness that she felt the soreness. A dull ache between her thighs, and in her hips and legs from standing like that. Her lower back complained as well as she rolled to a standing position. She stretched a little peeling off her clothes and rubbing at the makeup beneath her eyes.

Her reflection caught her eye as she passed the full length mirror on the door. Naked, she squared herself in front of it, rolling her shoulders back and sucking in her tummy. She pivoted to the side and gasped as she realized there were four neat little bruises along her hip. There could be no doubt what had caused them. The reminder of Gold’s vice-like grip as he thrust deeply into her waiting body made her shiver all over.

1) Moonlight Side - Werewolf AU. This was supposed to be scarier than it turned out, I blame Harrington, he just can’t help his adorableness. 

TBH: This is by far my most self indulgent fic and I have no regrets. 

2) Invictus - This was inspired by the poem of the same name. It’s about choosing the life you want to live and going for it, even when it’s scary and you might fail. In this case Steve is inspired to follow his heart and pursue Billy.

Bonus: You get see Jonathan in fight mode, stoned and being smarter than both Billy and Steve. 

3) Bang! Bang! -  1990s: Steve’s working for his father and is having a bit of an existential crisis, Billy is a career driven patrolman working for the Indianapolis Police Department. Neither of them have seen each other since they were teenagers but they both remember their last summer together - a handful of secret meetings at the movie theater, red vines, cherry cokes and stolen moments while classic horror movies play on the big screen. 

TBH: This was hard to write, I really struggled. It needs editing, but I’m still proud of it! 

These are all explicit, contain drug and alcohol use, violence and other grown-up topics.
