Yes, it's that time of year again, where families get together and celebrate how Christ rose from the dead. But what do other people do on this day? When it's not 4/20 haha.
My god, this last week of school has been hella busy. From presentations to papers to homework, to even my social life has taken onto getting busy. I'm in the process of moving, while doing finals, and preparing for my fall semester. I cannot believe I'm this close to the end.
I've had my ups and downs from college, and manly downs. But its been one hell of a ride. Though I am thankful for all my experiences, I am ready to get out of college and begin my career. I've made so many friends in the last year that have helped me grow into a better person, I can't even begin to thank them enough. Some of my friends I just made this semester and they have proven to always be there when I need a friend.
There are some friends that seem to want to piss everyone off in the group and they don't seem to care. I'm not one to name names so I'm not going to. It's not my place and I don't want to spread their names on the internet to where if you searched their name, negative things would come up.
Maybe it's the hippie in me from my parents, but I'm just gonna keep cool and calm and not let the negativity bother me to where I'll post negatively about them. If I have a problem with someone, I usually will either keep it bottled up and let it fizz until the point of no return, or I'll tell the person who is bothering me what is bothering me. Is that wrong of me?
On a side note; why are the younger generation Y's and Z's so damn stupid? You have the girl who tweeted to an airline that she's from a terrorist group and that she'll do something in a few months. Who the hell is that stupid to tweet something like that? And apparently she isn't the only one to try something like this. Even if it was a joke, before or after 9/11 you would NEVER say something like that. What are the parents teaching, or not teaching their kids about how far to take a joke? If I did something like that, my dad would let me stay in jail overnight and pick me up the next day after I learn my lesson.
I'm not bashing on Generation Y's because I am one, but I'm 24. I was brought up to be a respectable adult and not mess around like that you know?
I know there are more stories about teenagers acting stupid, like the one who pissed in a reservoir? How many gallons of water did he ruin? What was his purpose? [shakes head]
I swear my class and the class below me are the only ones left with the idea of respect for people. Those below them are some of the most disrespectful, and rude people I have ever met. Some of them are in my classes, invite themselves into the groups that my friends and I are in just to cause a problem.
What happened to people being respectful? Where did they all go?
