GOTHAM CITY, Apr. 17— It was three days after Dr. Victor Fries' trial that billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne finally spoke to the press in a short speech about his involvement and true intentions regarding the case and this particular villainous individual, putting an end to rumors and theories on what's really been at play recently.
"We are all aware of his expertise in various technologies —- specifically cryogenics —- and this is why I have given him a place among us, at Wayne Entreprises, an occasion to work with us and for a better tomorrow," Mr. Wayne explained while stationed outside of the G.C.P.D. Fries had no additional commentaries to say on the matter himself before being officially released from strict police custody.
Remarks on Gotham City's view on its infamous gallery of rogues were said by Wayne whilst giving the idea of redemption a louder voice this time. "Dear citizens, today I ask of you, not to open your arms to crime... but to open your heart to the misfortunates, to those who have been forgotten by the system," he said. However, although Fries will remain free for the time being, stern conditions have been made clear by judge Epcar.

Good morning, Gotham. I would like to thank you all for gathering here on this very moment, because I believe today could be a new step towards the betterment of our city. I believe, indeed, today could be seen as a spark of light in the dark corners of our home. One which can turn on the torch of hope, a concept we have been forgetting or denied, or taken away from us. This hope I would like to cultivate with us all here is the one of redemption. Justice is not flawless, yet I believe we, as citizens, can make work together to allow for a fairer decision when it comes to it.
We all have heard of Mr. Fries' case recently. This man which we have seen violating the order we so desperately seek to maintain... We could have locked him up once again, attempting to close our eyes on why. But what is causing one to go to such measures?
Haven't we all been at loss once in our life? Ready to do anything to find some sort of peace from our torments?
I think most of us have. We all have different paths, reactions and solutions... But sometimes, once cornered and treated unfairly, we can go to great extends to solve it ourselves.
I believe, we, as a society are responsible for our fellow citizens' future and well-being as we are for our own. I believe in solidarity and a better Gotham... When we see each other humanly. Mr. Fries was not insane. He was desperate, misunderstood and excluded by us all. Lives in an environment prone to criminality where chances are not equal for one and all.
This is why I would like to step forward and offer him a chance to redeem himself but also start anew... GOTHAM CITY, Apr. 7—Reliable sources have confirmed this afternoon that Dr. Victor Fries, aka the supervillain publicly known as “Mr. Freeze” has turned himself in peacefully to the G.C.P.D. some time today. Commissioner James W. Gordon has yet to provide an official commentary or give out any details on the matter, though many speculations have started to form.
GOTHAM CITY, Jan. 4—It was reported just a few minutes ago that the main building of Lowartech Industries was broken into by the supervillain known as “Mr. Freeze” and several armed individuals. It is said that certain objects and technological prototypes were targeted and stolen throughout the entire ordeal. There are no reported casualties so far, but four people are already said to have been frozen alive by the terrible criminal and awaiting transportation to the nearest hospital in order to be appropriately thawed and treated.
