like I’ve mentioned before, but just to provide context, (my) zed grew up on the coast, in a fishing village. as a result, he grew up knowing how to swim, and is still a strong swimmer. it’s one of the activities he does to relax/stay calm.
exercise as a whole is something he does whenever he feels emotional, aggressive, irritated, or just thoughtful. whether swimming, running, sparring, or his regular fitness (like, pushups and shit), he’s always found it a good way to bring his head to a more rational place and process emotions that would otherwise cloud his decision making abilities.
