Some drawings I had of the teens having unrestrained summer fun! Pietro would have gone to the Xavier Institute around early June when summer vacation has just barely started and this might be late June maybe. Said if the new mutants were all playing baseball together and when it felt too hot they all decided to jump in the pool with most of their clothes still on. Bobby had been wanting Pietro to feel more included with their activities and had him watch the game and then convinced him further somehow to also join them in the pool. Against his better judgment of having his clothes shrink and be stuck wet after, he gives in to his impulsive teen nature and escapes the heat with them! Finally letting his guard down a bit and just having some fun.
Bobby and Pietro aren't anywhere near being a thing at this point, but they still end up playing around flirting a bit together. Bobby trying to get close to him and being blown back by Pietro and them doing that a couple times until he finally manages to reach him. Tho the physical touch would snap Pietro out of it a bit and go back to being hesitant to share that between him and another guy.... It'll still take a while to crack this egg yet.
And yeah, Bobby is just feeling desperate to touch this guy but trying not to be a freak about it ajksfsl And doesn't know if Pietro would ever be into him, let alone guys at all. But this interaction might give him a glimmer of hope...
Also "Tongue-Tied" by Grouplove always comes to mind for me with teens having fun in the summer~
