My favs have got to be Lao, Yelv, Phog, Lin and Hope. I love their personalities and I can relate to Phog in some ways, which helps. He's just an adorable little bundle and I love him. Yelv is so different to Phog and I don't know why I like him so much. I just do. I always end up like the secretive-characters-with-a-tragic-backstory, hence my love of Lao. I fell in love with Lin at 'skell fanfiction' and I feel she gets unloved due to being forced. Hope is too sweet and you can't not love her.

HOLY smokes, yes.  your list is exactly mine (well, mine has H.B. in it but still!).  Lin’s fanfiction fills my heart with strength.  I suspect that in that scene, the reason Elma doesn’t acknowledge Lin’s fics is because she’s read them already.  At some earlier point before your character joins up, I can see Elma asking with 100% seriousness that she is curious to learn more of this… fanfiction.

Yelv and Phog make for some AMAZING contrast.  Their hair colors are similar but Yelv’s is feathered out while Phog’s curls in.  Yelv is tanned, Phog is pale.  Yelv is aggressive and loud and Phog is pure softness.  THEY ARE LIKE OPPOSITE-TWINS!!  I have had the both of them in my party for long stretches of time but I haven’t heard any lines they might share together.  i need them………. to communicate………………
