The door to King Theoden’s tomb in Rohan’s Barrowfields.

This piece started with the idea of two massive stone horses and where better to find massive stone horses than Rohan? I decided these creatures would be flanking the doors to King Theoden’s tomb and from there the rest of this image was born. I made sure to include the Simbelmynë, because I’ve always loved the idea of a flower that grows exclusively at burial sites. The tomb’s stonework is intentionally left clean, because I imagine descendants would be careful to wash away staining and detritus.

BEHOLD! My first ever Art Fight attack!!!!

It was an honor to draw @styllwaters Binti, a Rodian Padawan who survives Order 66.

As soon as I saw Binti was a dual wielder I looked up photo ref of Ashoka to draw him in a similar fighting stance. He may be a magnet for disaster but that doesn’t mean he can’t look good while fending it off!

(Binti’s timeline wouldn’t place him in the Death Star as a Padawan but the setting is classic Star Wars so I included it anyway).

Art Fight attack number three goes to @green446004’s Ariadne!

I took the pose from Eve by Solomon Joseph Solomon. I wanted to depict the adoration Ariadne would have for the village’s god and the honor she would feel at being selected to guard the sling. I chose not to cover her face and wanted her skin to look waxy and sickly from spending so much time under webbing and in the dark.
