I was going to send this as an ask to someone, but they're ask box is not on, so I'm just going to post it normally.

A fic/episode of Lab Rats Elite Force, still got shapeshifters, but Marcus is there. And so one of the shapeshifters shapeshifts into Marcus.

The shape shifter didn't know Marcus wasn't human. So there's some short of tell that makes it obvious this Marcus isn't an android. Angst ensues? Action? What have you.

I need more kase online friends fanfics, of course I do, they're lovely.

But hear me out. A marliver online friends fanfic. I mean, they're friends for a while and then suddenly Marcus just falls off the planet of the earth. When Marcus returns the first thing he tries to do is reach out to Oliver, and when Oliver learns about Marcus he's convinced he needs to make Douglas build him one last time, if not only to get confirmation on his theory.

Speaking of shapeshifters not having a good enough grasp on their victim as they should have in order to be convincing, has there yet been a fic where a shapeshifter replicates Kaz or Chase, but secret dating Kase is a thing and it... creates a problem for the shapeshifter.. Because they didn't know Kaz and Chase were dating, and it immediately throws him off and blows his cover.

Whether or not there is, that could be the tell for the shapeshifter being Marcus. Like, secret relationship Marilver, and Oliver catches on real quick that this Marcus is not the real Marcus for some reason or another (either Oliver knows him well enough to notice a flaw in something he says, or noticing this Marcus isn't an android somehow) and so he tries to tell the team so they can go save Marcus, but the team maybe doesn't believe him, so he just goes off on his own.

Or heck, he just goes off on his own without telling anyone.
