Say hello to the biggest ME I’ve ever been.... 258 lbs the scale read (a month later) so I’m unsure exactly how high I got on the scale. It was pretty embarrassing. I danced ballet and did gymnastics as a kid, I was active in high school, but after I graduated my depression got too intense. I found myself binge eating in bed ALL DAY in bed, skipping classes and sleeping. My roommate would beg me to go to the cafe with her....that was my only time leaving except when I went home for weekends. Long story short, I didn’t finish the semester at UWG and moved home. Shortly after I bought my first horse as a passion hobby (but was still packing on pounds) ... chronic pain began in my lower abdomen, like menstrual cramps but much sharper. I spent the next two years IN BED, in pain, in and out of hospitals for tests and scans etc etc etc.... another long story short, I have Polycystic ovarian syndrome. Along with PCOS I had several lbs of scar tissue wrapped and growing around my reproductive and digestive organs. I had surgery to remove a large cyst and the scar tissue. Fast Forward 2ish more years to mid 2017. I’m finally healthy enough to exercise without being in pain but I keep eating the pizza, I chose to stay on the couch. My boyfriend, Donnie, loved me regardless but the weight changed who I was becoming. Someone cynical and sad. Fast forward to November 2017, my aunt Therese reached out to me about a diet called “ideal protien”. “Yeah it’s a little pricy” she said. But I didn’t care and began my journey!!! So here I am. Kicking ass on this hardcore diet and exercising more and more every day and week.
