What do you think Sonic and Shadow's ideal version of a date would be?

I think that an ideal date for Sonic and Shadow would be one that isn’t planned. Neither of them know how to date, but they know how to spend time with each other. They kinda build the plane as it flies, if that makes sense. There’s no pressure in trying to make it “The First Date” because what matters to them is being there for one another.
With that being said, I think that their date would be a quick jog around the world. There’s plenty of places that Sonic likes to visit on the planet that he’d like to share with Shadow. They both pack a few things for their trip (sleeping bags, food, cash, medicine, clothes, etc.) and backpack around each continent.
Each of them take turns in picking a spot to visit on a map; Sonic leans more towards national parks and scenic views, Shadow leans more into quiet sleepy villages and dreary forests. It doesn’t matter where they end up. The point is for them to explore something new with each other. Though it’s a pleasant surprise seeing them walk together holding pinky fingers (they don’t hold hands. Holding pinkie fingers is symbolic).
And towards the end of the day—after they had a nice dinner or a snack—they wind down somewhere secluded to watch the stars and curl up with a good book.
