So yeah, just found http://www.fanfiction.net/s/9185592/1/Let-s-Start-a-Fire-So-We-Can-Extinguish-the-Flames this via The Pit, and it makes absolutely no sense. Starts out as some sort of vague slice of life fic with Mai, Zuko and two daughters, with some natural worry by Zuko over not being like his father, and having said daughters grow up like him and Azula....and then it gets WEIRD

  A few cliche plot twists, one of the daughters, by luck, the one that Mai supposedly favors dies, and Mai, for NO EXPLAINED REASON, goes off the deep end, and murders their other daughter in front of Zuko, the two pass out, then they wake up, and Mai commits Suicide out of grief or something. Around Mai snapping is when I just started to skim the thing, because it just made less and less sense.

I honestly have NO idea what the author was going for, in terms of anything, but yeah, it was certainly strange.

Am I the only one that notices those random words in rap songs? I think sometimes they just say words because they need something that rhymes, limes.
