Re: your tags under the last post - it's what he would have wanted, and trust me, I am looking more than just a bit disrespectfully. It's all fine though, he quite enjoys the role he's taken and has fun with it. Always a gentleman at heart though, and many a villager were smitten by his charm. Right now, the village is absolutely full of descendants of people he once cared about which he claims is a good thing ("I see their faces every day even after they've died" he says) but sometimes it just makes him realize how many close people he's lost already. Immortality adds a bittersweet flavour to everything he does, I think.

It's not common knowledge but it's not super secret either that he lives where he lives, and sometimes journalists and folklore researchers visit him, expecting maybe a crazy villager or a scammer. Mostly they leave the neighbourhood in a terrified hurry, but there were some thorough the years that were judged cool enough. Those usually arrive at the mansion later, confused and overwhelmed (anemic sometimes, too). The current master and lady of the house patiently invite them for breakfast and explain things a bit. Those journalists never return though, which is fine by Ignacy. He has no idea why they would leave in such a hurry though...

Sorry if this isn't as coherent or entertaining as before, I had a difficult time trying to recall what I wrote in that last ask that got eaten by tumblr. Hope this one gets through and that the next break between those asks is a bit shorter than uhhhhh over half a year? Wow. Tumblr you bastard *shakes fist*

As for the entertainment - well, he did come back a vampire :D but for the most of the time he kept to fairly common types of fun - drinking, dice, sodomy, university life. Occasionally he managed to act sufficiently smitten with some more vain alchemists that he managed to get them to reveal some of their Big Secrets that turned out to be hoaxes and lies, until one of them happened to be TOO real 🐇
