LOOK WHO’S BACK IN THE BUILDING!
Here comes Ignotus with a (major) redesign.
Instead of the woodland beast, he’s a dove now, thus the beak and wings. because after some research dove’s symbolise devotion and sacrifice. apparently they were used in sacrifices. So that’s why he’s got the red cuts, for sacrifice and his heart is visible for devotion. I have tried to give him pupils before, but to me he never looks right. So I just don’t draw him with them anymore. I also did take inspiration from people’s fanart and fan designs for The Voice of the Smitten. Especially since this au has a lot of inspiration taken from Slay the Princess.
For food, he eats a lot of things, but prefers baked goods and fruits. things like bread and apples. Basically things that you have to put some energy and devotion to do. To him it’s more worth it to enjoy food someone has put their passion and devotion into. for him it works out well that Audrey is incredibly obsessive about baking and using it as a form of coping with her health problems. So he does take advantage of that though.
He’s nice and cares for Chloe in his own weird way, but questionable. He had no qualms giving her his miraculous, despite the danger, as his is a dagger and lantern. doesn’t tell her at the beginning he’s looking for a successor to Darkblade and guards his old castle. He chose Chloe because of how she far she’ll go to get what she wants. It’s where the title for the au came from! He’s the one that says to Chloe “Such a noble sacrifice, you say?” He’s asking Chloe while using his miraculous has brought out her nobility, the base of her motivation still has a selfish element in that this is all for her parents. Just for her and Audrey and Andre. (Even though he’s also taking advantage of Audrey and Andre’s poor health)
And that’s about it for Ignotus now.
@awesomeart-83 I hope he still retains the creepy cute aspect you enjoyed about his original design.
Alguien? 🥺🥺🥺

So bad news, my backup pen is actually shit.
I've tried to use it to draw all night, it literally does not work as it should and now my hand hurts so I'm canning it and getting a new one. I've actually already bought the new pen, but it's gonna arrive in like a week, meaning I'll be unable to draw for 7 whole days.
It'll be fucking miserable.
With that said, EIGHTH ARROW FANART!
So, who's this guy?
Well in short, Ignotus is a fallen angel that resides in the Anti-Inferno because when Lucifer rebelled against God he was unable to pick a side. He's the first companion Odysseus and Diomedes stumble upon and he pretty much acts as their guide.
He does it begrudgingly at first, but as the story progresses he clearly grows to care for the two of them and seeing their weird friendship unfold was pretty interesting.
Aside from that his first responce to an inconvenience is to throw himself on the ground and just...stay there. He's such a mood, I love him.
Also at one point Odysseus and Diomedes try to save Helen of Sparta and Ignotus essentially yells at them for being horny which is pretty funny.
I wanted to draw more specific scenes between Ignotus, Odysseus and Diomedes but then the whole mess with my pen happened and I sadly don't think I'll be able to draw much for the next few days. It's quite tragic, I know.
But yeah, Ignotus is love, Ignotus is life.
Étienne Descoteaux from Ignotus is asexual!
Azt akarom, hogy rámszorulj,
Azt akarom, hogy sírj utánam,
Azt akarom, ne menj tovább,
Azt akarom, maradj meg nálam,
Azt akarom, halkan nevess,
Azt akarom, szavad elálljon,
Azt akarom, szemmel keress,
Azt akarom, a szived fájjon.
