This is a special masterlist for the College! AU series for Nine Percent.

There are multiple endings to it, with different endings are different storylines.

Think of it like Mystic Messenger or something, like, you get to choose your preferred route so the first 4 parts are like day 1 of Mystic Messenger, it’s constant, non-changing.

However, not every member gets their own ending. You Zhang Jing and Wang Lin Kai (Xiao Gui) won’t be getting their own happy/bad ending because I can’t figure out how to make one for either of them. They will still be mentioned as like, maybe a wingman or something tho.

With each happy ending, Y/N might have to break other members heart too. But I won’t be spoiling anything, you’re gonna have to read it to find out. 

The endings have nothing to do with each other. 

And if Y/N is already with one of the members, the others will back off automatically, that’s like, basic rules please, you don’t flirt with your bro’s girlfriend. If you do, sucks to be an asshole.

In which an actress from China wants to start a foundation called Nine Percent Project with her bestfriends, Wang Ziyi and Cai Xukun.

notes. Hey guys! This is my first nine percent text au (well idk if it still falls under text au category tho). You are a young, well-known actress from China who created the Nine Percent Project, which is dedicated to young adults who are entering college that needs financial help.

The only requirement given by you is to finish the course they have chosen at one take. Shifting to another course may result in forfeiture of the opportunity bestowed.

Your inspiration in producing the said project is based on your own experience, a struggling orphan, striving alone to live. Your hard work has paid off, and now you are one of the most paid actresses in the Entertainment industry.

You are grateful for all the things you are receiving and you thought that giving back is due.

What I love the most right now is Cai xukun.

He's a multi talented artist who made most of his song by himself.

“i’m bored!” he’ll whine into the line

you’ll roll your eyes and say, “okay. what am i supposed to do about it?”

“come visit me at the studio,” he pouts. “don’t you miss me? don’t you feel bad for me? i’ve been in here for like thirty hours straight and i’m starving and kiss deprived.”

xukun is a total softie when he’s not being a mack daddy

“fine,” you groan, rolling over in bed. he smiles when he sees you’re wearing one of his tshirts. “i’ll be there in like thirty minutes. mcdonalds is okay?” he hums and agrees.

thirty minutes later, you’re at the studio.

xukun has his headphones on and is listening to the track he just composed

he doesn’t even realize you’re there

he’s dancing around to his music and muttering lyrics to himself, writing them down

suddenly, the guy gets pumped and starts jumping up and down, yelling the chorus

you have to keep yourself from giggling

suddenly, he turns around and sees you

his entire soul just fell outta his ass

“uh...how long have you been standing there?” he’ll ask, eyes still wide with shock

“long enough,” you’ll reply.

he just scratches the back of his neck and blush

you wrap him in a hug and laugh. “being here alone really has you losing your mind, huh?”

“lose my mind everyday i’m with you,” he teases, pressing his lips to your forehead.

you two stay in each other’s grasps like this for a while

until his stomach growls

“you brought food, right?” and you’ll hold up the bag, causing him to smile. “i knew i chose the right one.”

you guys eat together and he’ll tell you about his day

and how he spent the entire time making music and how ziyi and linkai bailed on his today so he’s been alone the entire time

“because apparently have the flu is a good excuse not to come,” he’ll say sarcastically, making you roll your eyes

“not everyone can be like you, wonder boy.”

i’m going to start calling kunkun wonder boy

when you guys finish eating, he decides to let you listen to some of his music

and asks for you opinion

because your opinion really matters to him

somewhere around three in the morning, he’ll look back at the couch behind him and see that you’ve fallen asleep

he’ll drape his sweater over you and smile

because even in your sleep, you’re the most beautiful person he has ever seen

suddenly gets inspiration for a new song

two months later, you’re sitting at home while xukun is on tour with the boys

when he texts you and asks you your opinion on this new song he’s gonna drop and sends you an audio file

it’s a song about a boy who is crazy in love with someone and how he can’t get them out of his mind no matter how many days, hours, seconds pass by

it’s honestly really good

so you text him back saying that you love it

and you’re like “what are you going to name it?”

and he tells you that the title is going to be your name

“because you’re the inspiration behind all of my music. because i love you.”
