It took me longer than expected, but I drew something for the top five favorites.

BEHOLD! Another installment of “SCP’s Funky Little Guys meet @interlink-au’s Funky Little Dudes”! This time, we have Wild (with Echo, Mouse, Verdi, and Vet in the background respectively) and Field!
A meme that I for some reason envisioned based on your comic @interlink-au
It was probably because of this LOL

The War already has three Links. Why not a fourth?
Cap wondered if Wild might end up in the War; what if he already had?
Here are the old hats I used as reference for the Wild drawing.

They are delightfully silly, and it was hard to narrow down the options.
Props to my sister for recommending the colors of the feathers.
The vest is based on nothing and makes little sense, I'm sure. I was vibing.
Ok, that's not completely true. There is this guy:
Double Interlink update! Two chapters and art!

and a silly shopping trip!

Ooh saw that post for writing! This could be for anything lol, earthbound, lu, whatever you're in the mood to write:3
Noun - Moon
Verb - Blazing
Adjective - Crimson
Let's see how this goes heheh:> (not forcing ofc)
(Interlink AU [hope I didn't massacre your boys @interlink-au])
The moon hangs high in the night sky, lighting the ground beneath it. Wild sits awake at the campfire, unable to sleep at the moment.
As for all eighteen(!!!) of the others, as Wild checks for the eighth time that night, they're all sacked out in their sleeping bags. He suspects that not even an express train could wake them now, to use a phrase Engineer's used in the past... whatever an express train is.
He glances up at the sky, halfway expecting to see a blood moon. However, the moon is a normal color, rather than crimson. Curiously, ever since he got thrown into this adventure with all the others, he hasn't seen a blood moon at all.
Perhaps, of course, he should be grateful, instead. No Malice nor Gloom infects the land in any capacity. There may be other problems, but Malice and Gloom aren't on the list.
With a tiny smile to himself, Wild hums a soft, tiny tune as he turns his attention back to the blazing fire in front of him.
Headcanon of the week: The Hero of the Wild rarely sleeps and survives on "microsleep"
Headcanon of the week archive
Microsleep, or "micro-naps" is where a person falls asleep for less than 15 seconds. The signs are not always obvious. The sleeper's eyes might even be open. So neither Link nor observers realize he's doing it. They think he has periods of dissociation or just "checks out" sometimes.
Relation to canon: Not canon, but probably canon-compliant. He only seems to actually sleep in beds. When he's on the road, he can sit by a campfire for a length of time, but it's not implied that he sleeps.
Source
It says "Sit by the fire," but he's not sitting. He's squatting.
Source
So I see him squatting all night, unknowingly taking micro-naps with his eyes open. And microsleeping throughout the day as well.
With sleep hygiene like that, you bet he's willing to fork over 80 rupees for a water bed.
Why I like this headcanon: It gives him character. He never really got his circadian rhythm back after his 100 year nap.
