Please take some time to consider
My mutuals don't need this, but for anyone else that isn't accustomed to thinking this way...
Each of our lives is built on top of a massive foundation of infrastructure that supports things like electricity, running water, gas, and the like.
These things are sometimes local and pretty safe from interference due to national issues, but some of them aren't. Most states buy electricity, natural gas, even water from other states.
Take the time to work out how your life, and the lives of those you may be responsible for, will work if those things were to be cut off suddenly, and I mean for long term. If you and yours had to live without these things for weeks or months, would you be ready or otherwise in a position to easily adapt to that?
If not, do what you can, while you can, to get to that point. Reach out to your family, people you've known over the years that know things you don't. YouTube is a great resource for instruction too.
