It is the epitome of everything that's wrong with stargaze its not gonna get better than this folks. I'm so excited I can't sleep. 1/4 of the runtime wasted on characters standing around and stating the obvious things (i cackle like a madman) fucking omurice. Oh wow is that omurice! I think what broke me completely was wolfwood commenting on fucking omurice right. you see the OMURICE SCENE was made bc it was in the manga and for no other reason— seems like stargaze writers love referencing trimax without any ounce of understanding why and how this or that particular moment worked, or with intent of doing that just so trimax readers would point at the screen and clap their hands and scream that was in the manga that happened in the manga! yeeee! So how it was in THE MANGA Wolfwood noted he'd imagined local food would be More thanks to having access to a lot of plants on the ship -> it's revealed they mostly use plants to power the big satellite they operate to send sos signals -> after so many years they finally reach the earth fleet -> plot moving plot moving... but you see (my bloodshot jonkler eyes move erratically) that already happened in stargaze in the second episode..... so we have wolfwood saying this

What was the reason for that exchange. waste of breath and words? MOREOVER the OMURICE has nothing to do with plant made food bc we were shown they have a full ass stable of toma–that were toma right? Big blue birds?–and then Jessica is making omelets out of giant ass eggs which is toma egg right? so they have access to fresh produce? they can eat toma eggs? so it's not about plants? so why Luida butted in? what is the reason for any of this. I'm losing my mind I'm walking in circles. It's not me being manga fan bitter that the story is not 1to1 re-creation of trimax its literally just bad writing. guys my lads its so bad it's good.
