ive seen too many people get katuski's and izuku's dynamic wrong so let's clear smth up: THEY WERE NEVER ENEMIES. hell they were barely rivals i feel like, it seems like only katsuki saw him as a "threat" while deku saw him as motivation to get better. deku looked up to that dude even tho he was like the worst person ever to him, bc he could still see how amazing a hero he was. and katsuki, was insecure and jealous. deku still wanted to be a hero, still wanted to rival against him even tho he was quirkless. he HATED that. because it was so admirable. and someone weaker than him had no right to try to be as good. he had tons of shite to work through that we literally see him work thru and people are STILL mischaracterizing him I'm losing my mind here. deku always has, and probably always will, look up to katsuki. katsuki will do the same. thats just who they areeeeee. they were never enemies. i love their dynamic a lot and how hori displayed everything so i HATE to see people simply dumb it down because they want them to be perfect lovers. i dont even ship bkdk like that but holy cow i have a better understanding of them compared to some shippers.
