gRR I love thinking about cultural/language differences I love talon thinking that Sett's Noxian sounds so fucking weird, but also feeling weird about his Ionian. I love sett murmuring Ionian to talon sometimes, even though he doesn't understand, and them having different ideas of whats an ideal breakfast, or the right way to make a bed, or whether or not you should wear shoes indoors.

neil josten, my son, has so much damn empathy and compassion in his lil body whether he'd ever think so or not. in trk he admits to himself how foreign these feelings are: "A knife wouldn't hurt this much" / "Guilt was a relatively new emotion for Neil, something the Foxes were teaching him through prolonged exposure to them. Up until this point he'd felt it in uncomfortable, fleeting bursts."

he cared so much about getting andrew to show his pain after what happened to him, he encourages andrew to leave for treatment despite how much exy means to him, and then he even takes the time to talk aaron through why he should now understand why andrew did what he did to his mother even tho neil is damn near spiralling after everything and i just - neil actually cares so damn much and for the first time its nothing to do with himself or keeping himself safe.

he's being there for andrew, kevin, nicky and aaron and saying what he is bc he wants to show he cares. he even makes sure to let betsy know that no, nicky isn't his friend, but his teammate and then pages later he asks nicky if they're friends. im so here 100% for neil coming to the realisation that these people mean something big to him even tho he barely understands it himself.

and neil, who's been through a lifetime of trauma, learnt to distance himself wholly from the idea of ever being known, putting himself and his needs first as a runaway, and despite his issues with interpersonal relationships, he still has it in him to want to make things better in any way he can for the others and its such a massive heaping step for him here at this point. fuck me id die for neil abram josten
