On the grad school front: I am in actual tears because I have interviews with Cornell and Princeton’s molecular biology programs lined up for february, and since they’re paying for the flight and the hotel and everything my profs have told me that’s basically an offer.... i literally turned my applications in two weeks ago and both ALREADY contacted me and im so thrilled because I got into cornell for undergrad but couldnt afford it, and princeton rejected me, and now i have a legit chance to go to either of these schools for my phd and im....

have we ever talked about fp going over to the andrews with a black eye & artie just assumes its bc he got into a fight with some kids. and maybe fps left in freds room while fred came down for snacks and runs into artie and arties telling him fps nothing but a bad influence & fred needs to stop hanging out with him but fred knows where that black eye came from. he's getting angrier by the second bc artie has no idea what the hell hes talking about. and fps coming downstairs and overhears them
HELL YEAH! oh man and Artie HATES being talked back to so when Fred’s telling him that he has no idea what he’s talking about and that he’s flat-out wrong Artie’s getting so angry and telling Fred that he doesn’t get to act like he knows better than him! That he’s known FP’s family for generations and they’re nothing but trailer trash and drunkards and all they do is cause problems for the town and he’ll be damned if he lets his son run around with that. That one day Fred will see he’s doing this for him. And Fred knows how hard FP takes it when he gets lumped in with his family and he’s almost crying he’s so mad, especially when FP’s dad is the one who gave him that black eye. And he’s telling Artie FP and his dad are NOTHING alike!
being serious for a second, Lose Control is an amazing song, like...it just sounds so...Yixing. He’s the only person who can make music like this. People can’t sleep on him any longer. He’s so fucking talented and hardworking and has so much artistic integrity and I’m so fucking glad he can finally show the world!!!
