The other day I mentioned in a reblog about Ice Bear's love language being food. I want to talk about this now.
I'm not sure how much of what I'm about to say is headcanon since, for me, this is pretty much canon.
Ice Bear is the one who cooks in the cave and always make an extra effort to cook different stuff catering in his brothers tastes (And Panda's allergies but that's beyond their control) vegetarian for Panda, something meaty for Grizz and his own preference containing fish.
In the episode 'Losing Ice' he got pissed with them because they were 'too busy' to go eat with him so he ended up putting their food in the trash and leaving to cook in a restaurant. They took his love for granted and he was angry.
This was solved in the end because they apologized to him and showed how his love mattered paying attention while he cook and cheering what he is doing.
To me, Ice Bear's love language being food is canon.
And Nom Nom's love language is gift giving. This is pretty much canon to me too.
The biggest proof is the episode 'Kyle' where he thought he had a brother, and what he did to show his affection? Let him live with him in his mansion, let him sit on his chair and offer him half of everything he owned. (Not even an exageration, he was pretty much giving the half of himself. Taking into consideration he is an internet star, is also like saying he is giving him half of his worth)
That ended poorly for him tho, sadly.
However, I have another proof and that is the 'Vacations' episode. In the end of it, his way of showing appreciation to Grizz, was gifting him a vacation with him.
More than anything, everytime we saw Nom Nom showing some caring or love, it was gift giving. Yes, he hugged Grizz at the end of 'Anger management' but Grizz started it, it wasn't something Nom Nom thought himself. Grizz is the one of the physical contact and acts of service xd
And I really think Nom Nom thinking the best way of showing love being with gifts have a lot to do with the fact that he have too much money and think of money as something really important
