Please help me understand Imaginary Tree Theory

I like thinking about crossovers so this has bothered me for a long time, I cannot wrap my head around how the Imaginary Tree works in the hoyoverse. I understand the general concept, but I guess something with how its "leaves" are described just does not click for me, so I have helpfully drawn a shitty infographic of what I am confused about

How space travel works and how planets are positioned in the "universe" is very different between the two scenarios. For example, A would suggest that all space travel inherently traverses the Imaginary Tree, and that Qlipoth's wall surrounds multiple "leaves", if not the whole branch. In B, it is only protecting one "leaf". The answer could also effect the explanation of how Welt Yang ended up in the HSR universe

I lean towards explanation B, but there are arguably counters for both explanations, so I'm not sure if that's english mistranslation issues or multiple writing teams accidentally contradicting each other. Plz someone explain gacha game metaphysics to me 🙏

i really hope they talk more about the imaginary tree at some point in hsr, cause I have been desperately craving for more information about it.

like what do you mean zandar was the first person to discover it and develop the imaginary tree theory? and he also created nous, a literal aeon? are these events connected?????

like what do you mean aha ascended to aeonhood after climbing the imaginary tree and watching a baby fall over?

realistic question, what would happen in your book if Leona never went to HSR?? And i don’t mean like in the actual canon story of HSR but in the story of your book “The lion and his star rail.” What would change and what would be the same??

well… realistically Leona wouldn’t be in the story and a lot of stuff would be the same however… In Herta’s space station, some people never found their will to keep going and some people didn’t see the truth, Etc. It would mostly be the same.

On Belobog, Cocolia would have never been able to properly apologize to Bronya for what she had done and she wouldn’t have had her mind completely clear of the stellaron’s influence, where in her finally moments, managed to have completely peace knowing that she didn’t have to listen to the stellaron anymore, etc. That one would also be mostly the same with a few differences from canon.

Now, for Luofu, obviously there is some major changes like Yuta wouldn’t be alive right now and would have been instead 6 feet under. The Abundant Ebon Deer wouldn’t have given Leona that orb. which I will say will be brought up and not a Red herring.

Another one would be the Luofu never found out that Leona’s magic could help people and therefore some people had died more because of Mara, etc.

for penacony… i can’t fully spoil what would be different however, what I can spoil though would be that Koa would have never been able to be reconnect to his home world anymore and he would be still wondering around aimlessly while corrupting until there is nothing left.

For Ona, they would have been stuck in limbo forever without any way to interact properly with the others and he would never be able to see Koa ever again.

For Adem?… Unfortunately Adem would be dead. As i have said in another post and in the book, he was corroding. Which often leads to death in systems. what i didn’t mention was that 30 to 40 percent of System deaths are from Corroding. That’s how dangerous it truly is.

there is very few ways to counteract corroding and those ways don’t always succeed in stopping corroding. Now, for Dina… They would never be able to—

For the amphoreus arc, i can’t say either but I’ll probably post an updated version of this what if ask once we get closer to the amphoreus arc in my book. For now though, hopefully this answered some of your questions.

theory/meta about zzz (plus hsr & hi3) and the honkaiverse.

ok i think professor arche is the Creator, and probably also Carole Arna, and is the source of everything with the hollows and time shenanigans. the ether is a manifestation of destruction/calamity, like the stellaron, honkai, and black tide.

i also think that the hsr coreflames, hi3 herrscher cores, and zzz sacrifice cores are practically the same thing (in function, not in literal lore). all manifestations of finality, meant to connect to the soul of an individual strong enough to withstand their power. when successful, they will bind with their host, become something new, and cause destruction, bringing about finality.

the power of finality is potent and immense. it can be used as a power source, for both good and bad. light and darkness.

honestly, i think that everything in the honkaiverse is made of quanta, and the power of void/death/darkness/calamity/nihility/corruption/etc is not separate from light/life/creation/abundance/etc. it's all about the state of the energy/matter- antimatter or matter. it's just whether or not it has fallen into the sea of quanta, entered the void.

perhaps all fruits are meant to fall from the tree eventually. they don't stop existing, as matter can neither be created nor destroyed. in the end, all will fall into the void and become nihility. finality is the fall itself.

as it's all the same thing, quanta... everything is two sides of the same coin. finality/end and origin/beginning... everything in the honkaiverse is just the universe figuring out what to do with itself, with the eternal push and pull against or toward finality. the core of it all is: what it means to be human. with the existence of sentient beings, things can change and be affected.

(about zzz specifically, i do really love the subversion of expectations and its uniqueness in terms of theme, storytelling, worldbuilding, presentation, and real world commentary. the way zzz explores what it means to be human is very satisfying to my brain. i don't think i'll ever play hsr or gi.)
