***Rising Once More*** Quick PSA: I have nothing against the Abrahamic religions, this is not an attack against them; this is merely my response to the message I personally always received from the stories: that we humans are doomed from the start and unworthy. As I studied more and more mythology from my teenage years up; I fell more into the old ways, reconnected with nature and my femininity, realizing we are all, already divinely good, if we choose to tap into that and listen. Ultimately, we are on this earth to learn and grow and make mistakes. The challenge is to love ourselves and all others as we go through it. Eden was originally the place of a woman's power, as a place of the Goddess (or whatever you wish to call Her), but telling after telling has turned it and the fates of Adam and Eve (especially) into moral "don't be like Eve," lessons that really vilify the earthiness of being a human, of being a woman. Venus retrograde starts today and lasts on through November and definitely is making me more emotional than usual. It is a time to work with self-love to regenerate a more conscious relationship with yourself and others around you.
