General Overview
Calei is a nation which prides itself on the wit and resilience of the human kind. Calei's citizens steadfast belief in the human kind has brought the nation wealth and power beyond the belief of even the most wealthiest individuals. After the Great war which killed off all the other human nations, Calei remains as the last pillar of human kind. Calei earns most of its wealth from its large scale ore and gem mining and refinery operations. Still scarred from the Great War, Calei retains a mostly neutral relations with other nations, despite their perceived neutral stance, most citizens from Calei hate other races due to their *actions during the Great war.
*Most non-human scholars disagree on the almost complete extinction of the human race as it is a well known fact that to those that don't reside in Calei, that the Calein Royal Family instigated the Great war by blocking aid to Fetta after a devastating tsunami which killed thousands of Fettia citizens right after the "mysterious" assassination of their 489th President, Reif Bo. However all non-human scholars agree that the eradication of the human was an awful avoidable tragedy fueled by greed and hatred for the human race.
Government System
Calei is an absolutist monarchy and has been for almost millennia. The longevity of the monarchy has brought the Calein Royal Family great power and influence across Calei. Due to this influence many citizens of Calei tend to not question the contentious and problematic actions of the Royal family. In a previous time, the Calei monarchy was once not absolute. The Calei royal family once held several advisors and representatives of the federal states until the rise of King Drient, known for his economic policies which brought Calei into its current age of great prosperity, at the cost of several hundred innocent lives.

Calei does not have a specific name for their currency instead they just have Gold Coins, Silver Plumes and Copper Shodds.
1 Gold Coin = 5 Silver Plumes
1 Silver Plume = 10 Copper Shodds
For one Gold coin you would need 50 Copper Shodds*.
Due to the rapid industrialization of Calei during King Drient's reign, Calei has become a major mining and refining powerhouse, providing Calei with millions of gold coins in their reserves each year. Due to Calei's specific focus on refinery, Calei has maintained a monopoly on refined metals and materials because of this, any nation interested in further technological advancement must either establish their own refineries or import the materials directly from Calei.

The conversions were changed during King Drient's reign in an effort to keep the poor, poor, and prevent them from revolting and overthrowing the throne. This change was disguised as an effort to "help" with rising inflation from the constant loans which King Drient took out to further his mining and refinery endeavors.

Calei, similar to Lumoria, does not have a national religion or deity. Although there are small towns with local gods and Deities, this only makes up a small portion of the population. However, there is a growing number of both followers of 'Mi' and of 'Null' emerging within the nation.
