Aurora woke up amid a pile of brambles. She sat up to see she was in a forest, but not a forest she knew. Panicked, she walked in a random direction, hoping to find someone, anyone, who could help her. She stumbled onto a paved road and stood staring for a few seconds. What is this strange substance? She walked along the road, finding it's hardness strange in comparison to the usual dirt roads or cobblestone paths she was used to. She saw these strangely structured buildings that looked nothing like the ones she knew. Where am I? 

She kept walking. A strange sort of carriage she'd never seen before almost hit into her and she jumped out of the way right into a girl. "Oh, my! I'm so sorry!"

Emma had traveled far, looking for someone able to break the protections about the timeless kingdom, and had now reached the sea. She had heard that the prince, Erik, was often seen there in company and, because she was hungry and had no intention of staying there for longer than necessary, she had decided to find him and take whatever he had there, especially his horse. After all, if he was a prince, he must have also been evil by default, and a good walk towards his castle wouldn't hurt him too much. However, after setting a trap, she barely had the time to hide before a woman arrived. Emma jumped behind a rock before giving a peak. Was she a royal too?

The prince sat by the fire, a sharp knife in hand as he sharpened the branches. He had to make at least a dozen to go out hunting later that day. His tent was less than a meter from the circle of fire. There was a slow pace that he could hear and he lifted his gaze and reached for his crossbow. "Y'all betta show yurself." He stayed ready in case he had to dispatch another intruder.
