TIME FLIES!!! 😭 In a flash, Immanuel went from being MY little baby to being a young man!! I can’t believe he’s ALREADY a TEENAGER!! Immanuel, we LOVE how intelligent you are. You’re so dedicated to learning all that you can, especially when it’s CHRISTIAN SCIENCE. That is one of the many things I admire about you. You are SUCH a blessing to everyone you meet, and your passion for Christ is amazing to witness! Love you!!!!! ❤️
Happy Sunday, everyone! On this day of the LORD I am reminded of the many blessings I have been given by the LORD! Isaac and Alyssa-Grace are toddlers now and while it means extra work for me, I wouldn’t trade it for the WORLD! I love the hustle and bustle of a full home!
We took this LOVELY photo- my girls look so cute in their matching dresses, don’t you think? And of course the boys look very handsome!
We enjoyed a LOVELY time of fellowshipping. I’m so grateful for our wonderful church community!!

When we got home the kids changed into their play clothes and played on the monkey bars. Their bond is SO sweet- one of the many PERKS of having a large, CHRISTIAN homeschool family- we’re always together, and we’re so GRATEFUL for that.

About half an hour after Cayla went home, I started feeling contractions! This was NOT part of my birth plan and I was scared abut what the LORD had in store for me, because He told me two weeks ago that I should have my next precious BLESSING in the local Sim-Mart.
However, I knew that the LORD has a plan for us all and as I labored, I REALIZED that He was planting FALSE visions in my head to allow me to be HUMBLED by my IGNORANCE. I brought Izzie into the bedroom with me so she could witness the MIRACLE of life. Behind the camera was my midwife Yvonne. She’s such a SWEET lady from church and I’m so grateful that she was there with me.
After a short labor, I gave birth my NINTH baby. It was so BEAUTIFUL but very painful, and Yvonne realized something was wrong almost immediately after giving birth.
I was RUSHED to the hospital, but luckily it was a minor issue that was fixed quickly- I ended up coming straight home for a rest. I will NOT be going back- the doctor said that I should start using BIRTH CONTROL because more pregnancies would “sap” my energy. Of course, that goes against the Lord’s wishes so I will completely disregard it.
When we got back home, we introduced him to the kids- his name is Immanuel Zachary Rowan and they’re so excited!
As a side note, I just want to give a huge SHOUTOUT to Dora. She is such an ANGEL with her little buddies- she’s been attached to them since they were born! Always there to fetch a sippy cup, wipe tears away, or teach them about the POWER and LOVE of the LORD.
While I was in labor and at the hospital, she picked up SO much slack from what I have heard.
She’s basically like their second mother and I am just so GRATEFUL. She’s even given them nicknames -Ally G and Zac- that the WHOLE family now uses.
In case you don’t know what I’m talking about when I mean buddies- we believe that even CHILDREN can have responsibilities, and especially girl children who’s primary goal is to learn how to become the best CARETAKER possible. In a large family such as ours, Mommy can’t be EVERYWHERE, so my girls help me out by taking on a little buddy (or two!) who they play with, teach, discipline and watch out for. Izzie’s buddy is Axel, Dora’s buddies are Ally G and Zac, and our newest precious BLESSING will join Imogen’s new buddy team once he’s older. It works so WELL!
The boys, of course, dedicate themselves to their studies and work so they don’t need buddies.
It’s so great being a TIGHT-KNIT and SPIRITUAL home because our relationships are just deepened SO MUCH by the guidance of the BIBLE and of the LORD.
Just last week Alex was STRUGGLING with some things that the LORD had laid on his HEART, so he consulted Henry Bob and they had some Bible Time. MY man is SO SMART!
That’s all for now, but Izzie’s birthday is coming up soon so I’ll make a post about that when it happens!

More birthdays! Our precious twins August and Ivy Jane are toddlers now! To celebrate, we took buddy team photos. How ADORABLE is that?
Team One! Izzie, Axel, Annemarie, and Ellie. Axel is ALREADY taller than Izzie despite the fact that she’s about four years older 😂 I’m so proud of Izzie- as the eldest daughter she’s taken on SO MUCH responsibility, and has been so GRACEFUL about it!
Team Two! Dora, Isaac, Ally, Isaiah and Ivy Jane. Dora’s nearly ready to get her braces off, and from what she’s said I think she’s VERY glad about that 😂 She’ll be looking for a husband soon enough- with 3 siblings courting I think Dora’s eager to catch up. 😏😆 Ivy Jane is such an angelic little girl and everyone else in the “team” dotes on her (except for Isaiah, he’s used to being the baby 😜)
Team Three! Imogen, Immanuel, Addie, and August. August is a bit of a wild boy but he’s so smart and I know he’ll do great things. Immanuel and Addie are getting along well and they often do their schoolwork together, with Immy helping when she has the time. What a blessing this is- I hardly have to do anything around here! [AN: Yes, exactly, Kaylie, because you’re enslaving your daughters 🙄]
We are so blessed to have girls with servant’s hearts and motherly attitudes! In a family of 17 I need a little HELP around the house. It’s great practice for motherhood!
On the topic of motherhood... I’m so EXCITED to announce that I am EXPECTING again! God has blessed us with a little girl due in just a few months. God is so GOOD and we feel so lucky that the Lord has chosen to bring us another blessing.
Time Skip And Recap
Hey, everyone! Author here. Today I don’t have a post. Instead, we’re doing a special time skip/recap! About 2 years have passed since the last post. (Though I’m sure Kaylie has continued to post about everything! 😆)
Henry Bob and Kaylie: now 39 and 45 years old. Recently celebrated their 20th anniversary and are pregnant with blessing no. 14. (Post to come about that)

Alex: Just turned 18 and graduated (post to come). Still courting Cayla Hoover, enrolled in Redemption College, working on the weekends to save up money. [AN: Adidas! Please ignore the defrauding woman in the background.]
Izzie: 17 years old, has a few suitors, spends a lot of time at home caring for the little ones. (Pictured with Annemarie)
Dora and Asher: 16+3 months. Dora works part time as a babysitter and does a lot of knitting for her plopsy shop. Asher reads the Bible and is a bit of a loner. No courtships for either of them.
Imogen: 15+6 months. Doing her own thing, continuing to smuggle books from the town’s public library. She’s best friends with Delia Delaney, who’s older brother Daniel (18) is a liberal Christian on the verge of leaving. Her friendship with Delia and by proxy Daniel have helped her realize that not all of the beliefs that she was raised with were correct. I think that right now she’s at a Jill Dillard level, but is opening her mind further. However, she absolutely knows that her family isn’t normal or very good, and she’s definitely one to keep an eye on. [Baby steps people, baby steps!]
Axel: 13 (no birthday post because I am LAZY): He’s just being a goofy teenager, always cracking (medium funny) jokes and spending a lot of time with his friends. He’s very confident in himself and is definitely a Lawson Bates type. [Side note, these child spacings are INSANE. Imagine having 6 under 5, that was Kaylie except Alex was technically 5, not under 5. Still! After Axel you can definitely see them space out more, thank goodness, with the exception of the Annemarie to triplets spacing]
Isaac & Ally G: 10, Immanuel: 8. They're all being children, nothing of note.
Annemarie: 4. Ellie, Addie + Isaiah: 3. Being toddlers, nothing of note.
I was so blessed to take some of my children to the CREATIONIST MUSEUM of Willow Creek this past Friday. We had such wonderful time and it’s so GOOD know that there are places that still teach biblical TRUTH.
Dora and Ally Grace had a SPONTANEOUS prayer for everyone who believed in the lie of EVOLUTION. They prayed, “Lord, allow everyone to see the TRUTH” I am so proud of these Godly girls. There’s nothing like the BONDS of sisterhood 😊😊😊
And we have another one joining the big boy crew!
I love Immanuel’s inquisitive spirit and INTELLIGENT nature. He loves learning about CHEMISTRY and says he wants to be a SCIENCE PROFESSOR someday! Wouldn’t that be neat?! I can’t wait to see how he is GUIDED by God in this precious new season of life!
