Wilful killing

Torture or inhumane treatment, including biological experiments

Wilfully causing great suffering, or serious injury to body or health

Extensive destruction and appropriation of property, not justified by military necessity and carried out unlawfully and wantonly

Intentionally directing attacks against the civilian population as such or against individual civilians not taking part in direct hostilities

Intentionally directing attacks against civilian objects which are non-military

Intentionally directing attacks against humanitarian assistance

Intentionally launching an attack knowing that it will cause loss of life, injury or harm to civilians or civil properties

Intentionally launching an attack knowing it will cause significant damage to the natural environment without necessity

Attacking or bombarding, by whatever means, towns, villages, dwellings or buildings which are undefended and which are not military objectives

Intentionally directing attacks against buildings dedicated to religion, education, art, science, charitable purposes, historic monuments, hospitals, and places where the wounded are collected, assuming they are not military objectives

Employing asphyxiating, poisonous, or other gasses, and all analogous liquids, materials or devices

Employing weapons, projectiles, and material and methods or warfare which are of a nature to cause superfluous injury or unnecessary suffering

Intentionally directing attacks against buildings, material, medical units and transport and personnel

Intentionally using starvation of civilians as a method of warfare by depriving them of objects indispensable to their survival

If you still think this is isreal defending itself, you're ignoring the signs. This is a genocide. These are war crimes. More than 25,000 civilians have been murdered. This is not okay.

I’m taking a break from my blog right now as trying to do anything that brings me excitement feels wrong during these times. My thoughts are always with Palestine where innocent civilians including CHILDREN are losing their lives every single day. They don’t have access to basic necessities like food, water, electricity, and basic humanitarian aid which is so unfair and is a violation of human rights. Plus it is causing additional deaths and is again, just a complete disregard for human rights.

It feels odd to sit at my laptop and write when my mind is constantly filled with images of families being torn apart, hospitals being bombed, and men in flip-flops digging up their children from under the rubble.

I feel so helpless watching families being displaced from their homes. Entire bloodlines are being wiped out. I can’t even fathom that.

I hope the conversation about Palestine keeps growing. This is not another trend; it's a horrific and ongoing crisis that needs immediate and mass attention. Please take the time to educate yourselves and others. Even from behind a screen, every effort can make a significant difference. Palestinian people deserve peace and liberation on their land.

I mean, at least Biden’s finally calling for peace. It doesn’t look like he’s stopping weapons shipments, and Netanyahu is obviously not backing down, but this is progress… I guess?

Stop saying "Innocent women and children are being killed", as well intentioned as it is. The men are just as innocent. Grandfathers, Fathers, Uncles, Brothers, husbands, boyfriends, sons are being killed. Some of these men have lost their children, wives and parents. Some of these men were going to be fathers or brothers. They deserve just as much sympathy as the women and children.
