Aaaah tell me more about your nano project please! I'm also nano prepping and no one else I know is doing nano this year so I'm desperate for more people to talk to. What are your characters favorite colors? How do they like to dress? What's your planning process like??? (planning is my own weakness lol) I'm sorry if this is annoying or anything you don't have to answer if you don't want to haha.

Andee's favorite color is forest green, but it used to be purple and they're kind of weirdly sentimental about that so they usually say both
Rose's is pink
Pothy's is also green but like lime green. They also like yellow (and black bc they're still kind of a goth at heart)
Andee would say they don't have a style. They're usually in jeans and a hoodie, occasionally sweat pants or a crop top on special occasions but that's been super rare lately. Rose likes to dress as "girl power ceo of an organic based company that throws big company parties" core with some flash. Pothy dresses a More. Crow aesthetic, very shiny. So many bracelets. The shortest shorts imaginable.
My planning process if GIGANTIC. My planning sheet doc usually tends to be between 30 and 80 pages 💀 I start with basic character outlines & fun facts then delve into their intentions, obstacles, fears, and their relationships with each other. Then I look at a vague character arc and do some "speed dating" and in depth questions with each, then I look at my plot and break it up into relevant chunks, knock it into a three act structure, write out everything I expect to happen in bullet points so I have an outline and then get to work writing an actual outline with like details and substance. Then I write a way too detailed explanation of each scene as I go so I have it mapped! But that doesn't happen until I actually start writing the novel. I also do some world building if needed!
