OC-tober day 1 prompt: fave oc

Choosing one favourite oc is near impossible, but I narrowed it down to two.

First, Charis from Impossible Wish, chosen as the oc with my favourite desing:

Before us stood an eleganty dressed man. Though of average height, unlike his companion, he brought this air of importance with him that made those around him feel small. And this hair, his golden eyes- there was no mistaking it. Iliana stepped back, assessing the man. Noticing her aprehension, he smiled, with a hint of mischief, "I'm honoured to finally meet you in person. I am Charis. I hope my friend hasn't caused you too much trouble- he's never been the approachable type"

Impossible Wish as a story is still pretty early in development so no matter what I saw here might end up being inaccurate in the final story but while there are a lot of cool things I like about him, his design just has to be my favourite :>. [Don't pay attention to whoever is behind him, he is just a friend]

Lastly, Rena (Irene) Chronidi from Star Team, chosen as the oc with my favourite character writing:

Rena stumbled. She glared at [----] with so much fury. Neither of them could tell whether Rena's arms were shaking from fatigue or pure anger. She slowly raised her hands into fists in front of her face. [----] braced herself. "Since you won't get it, I'll spell it out for you. Here's my final lesson to you. Lesson five". She launched forward. "Know your place".

I would say every single character from Star Team is my favourite but Rena is the only character I am fully responsible for creating (both design and story wise, unlike most other characters for whom I am only responsible for the story) so i have to choose her as the nominee. I am very normal whenever I think about her after all.

OC-tober day 5 prompt: relationships

Featuring Ikaros and Iliana from Impossible Wish, who are siblings! Well step siblings kinda. Well found family in the sense that Iliana literally found Ikaros and decided he'd become her older brother.

"So what's the deal with the bird girl" the conman asked me. Iliana clicked her tongue in anger. I think I was angry at that comment as well. "I have a name asshole, and I can speak for myself". The temperature was getting hotter. Ah she'd snap any minute now. "And so can he" Syphos tried looking cool but his tail gave away his fear. "She's my sister" "Weird, what could possibly make one of its kind hang out with a mere human, let alone be his sibling-" "That's it, I'm reducing your little shop and then you to ashes" Iliana's hands burst in flames and she started burning Syphos's merchendise one by one. Seeing his face distort in despair had Iliana laugh out maniacly. He looked at me trying to reason with me, maybe to stop her? I just looked at him. "Ah forget it, you're just as scared of her". That was very much not it.

Going for a romantic relationship (I had one in mind) for this prompt would be a very cliche choice, so I decided to showcase a familial relationship :D. They are the main characters in the story and their relationship shapes the entire plot. Saying they have been through a lot feels like an understatement. But they always go through everything together. After all they only have each other.

OC-tober day 9 prompt: future

Featuring Ikaros (again) from Impossible Wish.

"The power to change your future, granted by others, has a steep price to be paid"

I have been giving a lot of love to the impossible wish cast in this challenge which good, excuse to develop the story more. Ikaros specifically has been an interesting and quite hard character to create. With the story being one about finding the power to change, and the consequences this might bring, this change is reflected in both his demeanor and design, hence why I chose him for this (Future on the left, present on the right)

OC-tober day 7 prompt: personality

Featuring (Si)syphos from Impossible Wish, the silliest guy there is.

The suspicious young man gestured us to enter his definitely shady looking shop. Iliana looked at me with a weird expression. "He said he knew something, he is our only lead". She sighed. "Welcome! Welcome to my humble shop 'Magics and such of the Orient'! We have everything, from miraculous medicine to magical items from all over the world! You are not cops right? I mean, if you are, these are all very legal and real items, the complaints are all from competitors who are trying to taint my reputation-" he briefly glanced at us from the corner of his eye. "You sure you're not cops right?". We sat in silence and uncomfortable amount of time. "You are not here to ask for a refund either right?" "What kind of business are you running-" "Don't you think it's HORRIBLE how these guys outside wanted to close down this business? It's been run for GENERATIONS in my family...." I looked at the wall he was obviously hinting us to look at. There was a series of portraits labelled with slight variations of the name "Sisyphos" and family positions. Most of the portraits were photos of him wearing different fake moustaches.

Legend has it that he has scammed Death himself once and since then has been on the run. You think he would have learnt his lesson and tried to lead a more honest life, but no, instead he has started doubling down on his scams. After all, conning people has been a family tradition for ages. So he claims. Most of his claims are so absurd it is hard to understand which are genuine and which not. If he is ever genuine about anything other than the joy of mischief. There is nothing good about this man, he would sell you in a heartbeat to escape any dangerous situation, but he is funny at least. The ideal he strives to live every day of his life is "fuck around, care about finding out later". Let's say this attitude has got him a lot of enemies.... very dissatisfied customers.

We know about the legend of Sisyphus mostly for the rolling a boulder up a hill part, but I don't see much discussion about the part that got him this punishment in the first place, tricking Death himself. That was kind of the idea behind the name.
