Dally with a complicated relationship with religion:
Dally who wears that St. Christopher pendant around his neck like his life depends on it, but struggles to pray unless he's absolutely, unfathomably desperate
Dally whose prayers sound more like blunt, trailing confessions, messy and unpolished and exhausted, because he's given up on the notion that there's someone listening
Dally who felt suffocated walking into that church when he went to get Ponyboy and Johnny, like he was being ousted by the press of a million invisible hands because he was too far gone for salvation
Dally who felt nothing when he died. Regret, maybe, but those regrets were bound to the East Side, to the gang, to the faded asphalt under that streetlight in Tulsa, to the ground beneath his feet. He didn't think his soul would go anywhere, so he felt nothing.

Naming your bullshit fake money loving bank after the place that gathered too much wealth it brought its own doom. Naming your surveillance group after the thing that corrupts all and hands information to the enemy. The place where you sneaky hide your fuckery with stocks named for the place that is a refuge of goodness and wisdom in a beleaguered world. A VC firm that can control major events via cash named for the original creators of the world. Naming your goddamn frick a fucking other investment fund for the thing that is known for being the reason an entire thriving civilization collapsed because of greed. And a security system named for the guy who every definitely had a cataclysmic security fail bc it overlooked the concept of the little guy.

I blame @stealingyourbones for this one, cause I recall seeing a thread at one point about Blue Devil and then this eventually cropped up in my brain.
Blue Devil & Constantine just not having a good time of dealing with some green magic schmuck that decided to interrupts Daniel's day when he was with Constantine.
Needing a bit more oomph to deal with things, Constantine sets up a quick summoning circle intended to use a focus to bring something in to help deal with them (ideally without going overkill and causing more destruction). He even had his own focus for summoning something at the ready.
Which is just his luck when the bastard knocks that away and the spell pulls in... some green baton?
"Behold! I am Technus! Thank you for freeing me into this world once more dirty trench coat man!"
"First of all, git. Second of all, just do your bloody job and get rid of this tosser."
So Technus does, by possessing the closest and most powerful tech he can see. Which just so happens to be one Blue Devil exoskeleton.
One fight later and the two unhappy body-time-share occupants are informed by Constantine that Technus is a bit stuck onto Daniel.
Daniel being fused with his suit means he's overshadowed in a sense, with the ability to wrest control from Technus when he wants.
Technus possessing the suit however means that undoing the summoning and sending him back could have some unfortunate side effects on Daniel's long term health. (RE: People usually don't do well when the outer layers of their body go poof)
So yeah. Constantine will look into it. And whatever the green attack dog that went after them was. Surely it can't worse right?
"HEY! That baton belongs to me, thank you very much."
"I'll have you know-"
Gasp.
"Oh my gosh- are you Daniel Cassidy?"
Right. Random blonde civilian now. Why not.

In which Blue Devil, Constantine, and one Star from Amity Park in the midwest are forced into a paranormal investigation involving the company Star works at.
Blue Devil and Technus are forced to try and figure out how to cooperate on things.
And despite their efforts to dissuade her, Star refuses to give up a chance to hang out with her secret movie favorite.
Just randomly making it up that Star knew of the movies Daniel Cassidy worked on and had a secret love for the effects and stunts so she was actually a huge fan.
Also that she just never actually gave back the anti-ghost weapon the kids were given in Pirate Radio. Cause why not keep an anti-ghost weapon when living Amity Part? Plus it works just as fine for beating off creeps in everyday life.
Hoping that my brief wiki-skimming means I haven't overlooked anything too huge but feel free to make corrections or such.
Maybe I've just yet to find someone who's done this already but
Has anyone considered a sashamilla alien au where either Sasha or Milla are aliens?
I'm thinking of it like a Star Trek situation where the psychonauts are an intergalatic psychic operation or something and it would be cute to see either human sasha be immediately enamored with cute alien Milla that's his new coworker (first out of excitement cause holy shit he gets to me an actual alien but then he gets to know her and falls for her) OR sasha himself is an alien with a special interest in humans and upon being paired up with Milla just subtly studies her and asks her about humans in general and he gets more than he bargains for as she excitedly shows him all things fun
This was just something that came to mind based on Sasha's interest in aliens and I figured a space au would be interesting with him
I just don’t understand, if you don’t like someone has named a ‘reader’ just scroll and move on
Let’s not make others feel shit about themselves or their work
honey i can say with full confidence that never did i make anyone feel shitty abt themselves/their fanfics. i literally just mentioned correct tagging. named readers do not exist — a reader insert is a nameless space for the reader to insert themselves: no physical descriptors, and no fucking names. now pls get off your high horse and move on!
