I'm worried this will come up as a plot point when Jeng and Pat start to get closer because if this coworker and the entire office are already asking wildly inappropriate questions now about his interactions with Nan, they are all capable of much worse when the boss will be involved.
Nothing is as she left it five years ago, and the losses have become crushing. With no Sothis to chide or guide her, Byleth lets Dimitri give her a hands-on lesson in unhealthy coping strategies.
Excerpt:
She scoffs, growing impatient and pressing her chest into his—a challenge. “I am here Dimitri. I didn’t die like the others. I came back. Please don’t push me away when you need me the most.” Her voice breaks a little at the end, and she clamps her mouth shut with a click, blushing for multiple reasons.
They are practically nose-to-nose now, so close that she can see the weave of the fabric of his eye patch. A deviant shiver goes down her spine, and Dimitri notices.
The pressure in the room changes. There is suddenly something simmering in the air—it would almost be awkward, Byleth thinks, if it wasn’t so electrifying.
What is wrong with you? she prods herself in exasperation, inner voice imitating Sothis. You should neither be intimidated by nor attracted to this. And yet, she shrinks back from him, worried about what these new rogue impulses might cause her to do if he remains that close.
“Anyway, your trust isn’t meaningless…not to me,” she murmurs. Trying to regain her train of thought and footing in the conversation, she backs up a few steps, but Dimitri matches her move for move. Her pulse revs up significantly, and she wonders if he can hear it pounding in her ears.
When her back hits the pillar behind her and Dimitri’s chest brushes her own, trapping her there, Byleth loses her patience. “What are you doing?” she snaps, a threat appearing in her eyes.
He stops his advance, a pained smile curling his lips. “Scared, professor?”
This is so unlike him, she thinks.
He never pushed her this far, never after she pushed back. Not like this.
There were a few moments before—he’d brushed her hand a little too long or hovered almost against her when they passed on the tight, tower stairs, but he always maintained the boundary. He always laughed nervously and backed away when she looked at him too directly for too long. She had gotten used to having this effect on him, began to rely on it when he came too close and she could feel the electric charge humming between them. It had set her teeth on edge when Sothis was with her. It seemed to vibrate through them both in a terrible cacophony of sensations.
Now, without the goddess, it feels more like an ache, the same ache Byleth had woken with, the ache that rages with a sound that’s very close to her screaming five years at the top of her lungs.

Donald Trump is who we knew him to be. But now he’s worse. The GOP Senate continues to show us what it is.
It all boils down to the Republican Senate led by Mitch McConnell.
For political advantage, Moscow Mitch is willing to tolerate sordid behavior which would never be permitted in any other professional setting.
34 seats in the US Senate will be up for election next year: 22 are held by Republicans and 12 by Democrats. One of those Republicans happens to be Mitch McConnell.
Of the 22 Republican seats, 6 are seen as vulnerable; of the 12 Democratic seats, just 1 is being seen as endangered.
Next year it’s just as important to revamp the country’s senior board of directors (the Senate) as it is to fire the CEO (Trump).
Getting rid of the arsonist is a good thing. Getting rid of those supplying the arsonist with matches and kerosene is even better.
EDIT: Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-GA) has just announced that he will resign from the Senate at the end of 2019. That means there will be a special election in 2020 to fill the vacancy in addition to the scheduled election. So 23 (not 22) GOP-held seats will be contested next year.

I’m begging you like honestly it’s getting really tiring because you say there’s a kid like 12 or 13 year-old child on here and they see this and they’re curious and they press it and they see stuff that they shouldn’t be seen until they’re an adult. I’m an adult and I honestly think this is so manly that people are putting these Botts up and then if they’re a real person you’re creating this stop like honestly stop like really stop like that’s enough!!
Again I apologise for going on this round and if it doesn’t make sense if you guys can make out what I’m saying I am so sorry but yeah this is going on way too much and I think it’s so bad.
I really don’t know what else to say and again if these box keep doing this and then people keep doing this they’re going to f**king ruin Tumblr for all of us that enjoy Tumblr and use it as a main page.
